A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Cosmic Evolution
As anyone who understands the relevance of astrology already knows, we are in unprecedented evolutionary times; radical change is upon us, which is not quite the same thing as cyclical change, where the archetypal themes change but the basis of human life and human culture remain mostly the same. Radical change implies a change that goes deeper into the foundations of existing reality to alter the pattern in ways that open us up to very new ways of being human. The Cosmos is evolving, and by extension our solar system is also evolving - levelling up to a new vibrational frequency, offering new evolutionary opportunities for the evolving soul.
In this post I undertake to go deeper into the significance of the imminent Neptune-Saturn conjunction at 0˚ Aries on February 20th 2026 because in my view this event is not a regular change in the Neptune-Saturn cycle, but something much more auspicious, marking the energetic inception of a completely new spiritual paradigm on Earth, occurring via a fundamental shift in collective human consciousness.
This is going to be an in-depth rede on the archetypal imprint channeled through the Neptune-Saturn conjunction and anchoring into space-time reality, which will be longer and more detailed than my usual offerings, but something that one can perhaps return to in the months ahead as we try to make sense of, and ground, the new energies symbolised by this conjunction.
I’ve included a lot of the newer trans-Neptunian celestial bodies for greater nuance, so don’t be daunted by a chart packed full of symbols; I’ll be riffing off them throughout, and aim to make them more digestible rather than overwhelming.

The conjunction
What makes this conjunction different from other past Neptune-Saturn conjunctions is the startling symmetry of it’s occurrence at exactly 0˚ Aries right at the very first degree of the zodiac on the world axis (influencing world events); an alignment that doesn’t appear to have happened for more than 12,000 years, and in astrology the rarer the alignment the more significant and influential it becomes.
A conjunction occurs when 2 planets line up in the sky at exactly the same degree, and it represents an alchemical merger of archetypal energies that simultaneously brings an old cycle to a close, while also initiating the information codes of a new evolutionary cycle. While this alchemical union is taking place, the dynamics of all the other celestial bodies also take part in what is being birthed, and contribute some of their energy to the new pattern. The chart cast for the exact conjunction can be used to divine the essence of this new beginning and what it might mean for us.
It’s important to understand that while we focus on the conjunction and what it might mean, we must also remember that this astrological event is one of many that have been occurring as a reflection of a natural unfoldment; it isn’t isolated but is part of the divine orchestra so to speak, even while it stands out as an archetypal punctuation or crescendo in the cosmic symphony.
Neptune & Saturn
The Neptune-Saturn planetary pair describes the evolutionary relationship between the finite and the infinite; the tangible and the ineffable; the manifested and the imagined. Neptune as the “guardian at the threshold” is the gatekeeper to the spiritual realms; this is why we currently think of Neptune as the primary archetype governing spirituality; the umbilical linking us to higher realms - else we become lost in a meaningless material existence. We are not physical beings dabbling in spirit, but spiritual beings exploring the physical.
[Incidentally Neptune vibrates to the number 7 and thus to the vertical spiritual axis as expressed by the 7 chakra system, and the activation of kundalini energy at the root chakra ascending up the spine to activate the crown chakra.]
In natural law, spirit precedes matter, which is to say that consciousness itself gives rise to forms, or to put it in quantum-physics terms, the implicate order (the realm of the waveform) generates an explicate order (the realm of the particle). Here then in the Neptune-Saturn conjunction is the convergence of the finite with the infinite; a seed moment when new information codes from higher dimensions of being become anchored into space-time reality, changing the way manifest reality evolves.
While this occurs at 0˚ Aries we can assume that whatever is being seeded in 2026, both individually and collectively, will most readily be experienced as instinctive new desire impulses and inspirations, which we can choose to ground first into our inner reality, in order to manifest new pathways of growth and evolution. Instinctive awareness is something we feel rather than think; we know at a gut level what needs to change and want to move toward the new, even while not fully understanding what the new will mean or look like. Old patterns that have been so far defining what we have been living, and what we perceive to be meaningful and possible, will now be replaced with the seed codes for the new pattern each of us is meant to embody moving forward, and I surmise that this new pattern will be one that opens us up to a vast array of possibility within the human experience.
The nature of 0˚ Aries is tentative; its not a done deal so to speak; we can easily lose the inspiration birthing within - optimistic new impulses can slip through our fingers only to be forgotten again. The innate tension between Neptune and Saturn makes this tentative process inevitable; grand marvellous schemes, dreams, and simple impulses to change, have to compete with the momentum of past conditioning, where our ‘sensible’ dogmatic side could very well put a damper on things and talk us out of brave new ideas. Having said that though, Neptune will win the day in the end despite the tense tango with Saturn in the crucible of rebirth; old structures will continue to dissolve and if we cling to them they will lose their meaning.
While 2026 won’t necessarily deliver radical outer change, we can expect the process throughout the year to mark a definite sea change for many of us, especially if we are already spiritually active and engaged with consciousness expansion, but it will be a process of learning to respond to the new instinctive desire impulses arising during this time; these are desires that have no basis in the conditioned mind; they simply are, and we can either respond to them or repress them, and I think this will be the key challenge of 2026, since we can so easily repress desire impulses that don’t fit into our pre-existing reality framework; whatever is being birthed will seem exotic and fresh relative to whatever has come before, and there may be deep insecurities to deal with.
A change to the way we understand existence
At the heart of this exciting collective rebirth will be new collective realisations about our spiritual nature as human beings, and a revaluation of this aspect, making it more central to the way we navigate our personal lives. The North Node in Pisces sets the compass needle firmly in the sign of spiritual growth, connection and awareness, and the 9th degree of Pisces is a highly energised mobilisation of energy toward self-quickening.
The North Node is conjunct the asteroid Pallas, while semi-sextile Salacia and the Moon, sextile to Ixion and inconjunct Varuna in Leo:
Most of all, Pallas fused to the nodal energy highlights how the activation of the inner-guide and the drive for more self-knowledge and wisdom will be intrinsic to a transitioning world paradigm. With the Moon conjunct Salacia, while in square to Ixion and trine to Varuna, we can also expect the new energies activated by the Neptune-Saturn conjunction to be felt at the personal level, tying into the rise of “the people” standing up for themselves against the shadow-players in our social hierarchies, inspired by high-frequency Salacia toward a renewal of identity at a higher more noble level, built from a rising emergent quality of sovereignty - one that can bring the common people out of the ‘long night’ of passive servitude - versions of which we see all over the world right now.
The shift to personal sovereignty only occurs when we throw of the limiting social conditioning that traps us in a soulless materialism, chasing fruitless measures of success at the cost of wellbeing, love, community, connection, wisdom and longevity. How many people are ill or chronically fatigued by a modern lifestyle, the nuts and bolts of which have been created for us? How long can we tolerate blue light screen addictions, interrupted sleep patterns, poor diet, and high stress lifestyles, let alone the dangers of 5G? The Moon in Aries conjunct to Salacia and in square to Ixion in Capricorn speaks to the way a new understanding of existence and our place within it could generate a personal uprising against all things anti-life; a birth of autonomy that starts with a simple choice to say no.
The return of the light
Varda began her ingress into Capricorn in mid January this year marking a significant change in her role as both harbinger and champion of the light; she adds her voice to the the season of new beginnings, together with numerous other archetypes, all in the early degrees of signs e.g. Sedna at 0˚ Gemini, Haumea at 4˚ Scorpio, Typhon at 1˚ Sagittarius, Pluto at 4˚ Aquarius, Saturn and Neptune at 0˚ Aries and Uranus very soon to make is final ingress into Gemini 0˚ this coming April.
Earth’s ascension will take us ultimately out of a long cycle of spiritual darkness, and for some of us this can’t happen fast enough! Varda coincides in exact square to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, adding potent light frequencies to this inception point; her high frequency energy is stepped down first by Neptune into the collective unconscious, and then again by Saturn into space-time reality, and this is happening at the very first degree of cardinal signs, which always initiates change and movement toward the new.
This alignment is very auspicious when we consider that our planet is currently ‘ruled’ by those immersed in the dark forces of self interest and separation. This is why it is now a common social media assertion that our leaders and politicians are mostly psychopaths; profound emotional shut-down and disconnect lead to pathology.
Not only is Varda in exact square, effectively supercharging the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, her mythic consort Manwë, known as Lord of the Eagles, is also part of the conjunction energy dynamic just 4˚ away. I think of Manwë in Aries as the archetype of the Light Warrior, and both Manwë and Varda can be linked more literally to extra-terrestrial and hyper-dimensional beings in service to the light in alignment to the law of one, and their respective cultures, orientations and agendas.
We should not be surprised that part of the new emerging paradigm will naturally involve more and more disclosure, but perhaps more importantly a significant change in the way that benevolent off-world cultures, whether in higher dimensions or densities, connect with us and influence awakening, in support of planetary ascension.
My sense is that we have reached a collective frequency of vibration that will “lawfully” allow more direct contact, and I expect that this will occur independently of government and bureaucracy, with individuals manifesting profound new connections and even physical contact in the months and years to come.
Radical disruptions and changes to belief systems
While Typhon in Scorpio has largely been stirring up the shadow and forcing many to review their idea of the world and the human predicament, Typhon’s current ingress into Sagittarius, and now trine to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, implies the rising shadow in our collective belief systems, forcing us to process shadow in regard to regressive and destructive patterns of belief. Typhon is imbuing this profound inception moment with seismic shifts in our collective beliefs, which of course means individuals may experience radical changes to what they think is true in the coming times, opening the way for a new world paradigm to emerge and establish.
Typhon is also in a close opposition to Sedna in Gemini, and Sedna is in a harmonic sextile to Saturn and Neptune: eruptions in our belief systems will directly pertain to the return of the true feminine after thousands of years of suppression via patriarchy.
I think this will play out at times in very destructive ways, especially in relation to patriarchal religion. We can expect to see more conflict in relation to Islam, Judaism and Christianity as Typhon destabilises belief structures. At the same time there will also be productive outcomes too; seismic shifts in what we believe, although at times intense or brutal, can open the way for retrieval of the lost feminine and the subsequent joy that comes through healing, renewal and reconnection.
With Haumea in Scorpio in an inconjunct aspect to Saturn and Neptune, this inception point is rooted in the return of the feminine from the collective shadows through a fundamental healing and adjustment journey; the new spiritual paradigm will honour both the divine masculine and feminine as equal expressions, and it will be born out of the feminine, which is to say that the new way will emerge only when we learn to cooperate with universal forces and not try to drive or control them.
Personal quickening
The Moon in Aries conjunct to Salacia also makes a semi-sextile to Venus and Albion, and is part of a Grand Cardinal Square aspect with Makemake and Logos-Zoë in opposition, a Quaoar-Pholus conjunction in Capricorn, and square Jupiter in Cancer.
The Moon in astrology can represent the ego-personality at the individual level, and the common people or human tribe at the collective level. The new cycle is going to make itself felt in our personal world; we are being asked to remember who we are as spiritual beings in very powerful ways. If we are prepared for this, we can expect adjustments to the new frequencies coming in to feel like a personal new beginning in some way; a need to free ourselves to become more true to who we are at the spiritual level. If we are not consciously prepared, this might push intensely at the unconscious level and generate life manifestations of all kinds that serve to wake us up to greater human potential.
The nature of a Grand Cardinal Square provides a great deal of dynamic energy moving toward personal breakthroughs, pushing us to think more universally than before, challenging us to awaken to our personal capacity for Christ-Sophia consciousness - linked directly to our DNA, now being activated by the flood of cosmic light radiation entering the planetary field. A synergy with Venus in Pisces highlights inner questing for transcendence as a driver for personal life change; it is through the inner spiritual experience that intuition is awakened and fixed beliefs eventually dissolve.
A synergy with Albion in Taurus indicates how much of this process serves to activate the original human DNA blueprint; we are meant to be vessels for Christ-Sophia consciousness, which requires of us to undergo deep soul level purification.
Healing collective gender distortions
The universal law of gender is expressed through the interplay of masculine-yang and feminine-yin energy flows moving throughout the universe on all levels as part of an eternal dynamic balance. A distortion affecting humanity on this planet has effectively led to distortions of gender, whereby masculine ‘separating’ energy has been valued, while feminine ‘unifying’ energy has been devalued. At the surface level of things, this has expressed in society as the suppression of the feminine in both men and women, which in the past put alpha males at the top of the social hierarchy, and nowadays while women do indeed have more social power than before, masculine traits such as extroversion, ambition, drive, assertion, left-brain-dominance and control are still very much venerated.
Ceres, Chiron and Eris are in conjunction in Aries, while Mars, Chariklo and Vesta are conjunct in Aquarius, and these 2 stellium clusters are in harmonic sextile to each other. Chiron and Eris have been in close conjunction in Aries from about 2023 ongoing until around 2027, marking a collective healing process of the wounded feminine through distortions expressing as violence, aggression and war; its a sign that we are steadily moving out of patriarchy but we have needed to understand and work through the costs of war, and heal from thousands of years of warfare.
Now as Neptune and Saturn conjoin to seed a new reality potential, Ceres (another goddess archetype) joins this healing process, and this suggests that the seeds of a new reality will be rooted in the evolutionary necessity of healing the wounded feminine. Ceres is often associated with the mother archetype, emotional loss, and natural cycles of development. But at a deeper level (according to Zecharia Sitchin) Ceres is the largest remnant of a lost feminine planet the ancients called Tiamat, which is thought to have once existed between Mars and Jupiter. The destruction of Tiamat appears to have been recorded in several indigenous oral traditions including Irish Celtic folklore; memory shards from a very long time ago that humanity still carries.
From this perspective, Ceres joining the Chiron-Eris conjunction may well be initiating some very deep ancestral healing work in the coming years, and while this energy gestalt captures the essence of the wounded feminine, due to long term violations through war, conquest, desecration and rape (remember this is not just about the status of women), Mars in exact conjunction to Chariklo and close to Vesta in Aquarius highlights a traumatised masculine function now becoming an active part of the collective healing process as well; it signifies a collective readiness and imperative to put much more attention on the wounded masculine than we have so far, and to make a safe space for healing. In case this is hard to grasp, its worth considering just how many men [and women] were traumatised by WWII [not to mention the many war veterans since then], who were left alone to endure unresolved post traumatic stress while self-medicating on alcohol, or wounded soldiers today who end up homeless or drug addicted because a culture operating through gender distortions offers little in the way of care, nurture and healing to those who need it.
This is a very exciting symbol occurring during the inception point because we know that both gender flows are wounded and compromised; we can’t reach elevated loving and peaceful vibratory states unless we can resolve the damage we collectively embody and express.
There are two trines also involved - Hygeia in Gemini trine to Mars highlights how fresh new understanding about the healing process, and new healing techniques and technologies, will feature in the new paradigm and quicken collective healing, while Praamzius trine to Chiron and Eris ties the return of the feminine to sovereignty and self-realisation, both of which must be the corners stones of collective ascension.
Shadow expressions
While my main focus is on the optimal evolutionary timelines for astrology forecasts i.e. looking at where we are evolving in an ideal sense, to set the compass in the right direction - it is also relevant and helpful to be aware of some of the negative collective expressions that may play out.
While the impulse to spiritually evolve is inexorable, it is quite common for the soul to be caught in patterns of resistance. Resistance is a clinging to pre-existing patterns of being as a way to avoid change; we try to stay the same as a way to feel secure even when the universal flow of life is moving us into new experiences. Resistance can lead to the lower expressions because fear is at the heart of the issue.
Evolution is the driving impulse to become more than we are; to experience novel new things, and when we resist the evolutionary impulse we can become stagnated, which often leads to cataclysmic life changes. Sometimes this is the only way the soul can move forward, especially if the individual is operating from an egocentric centre of gravity.
We are not yet a unified whole; we are a human collective of billions of souls operating from varying states of consciousness - some are more evolved than others, meaning they have advanced further up the frequency ladder into higher more loving states. Many souls on Earth appear to be operating from less spiritually developed states of consciousness. This is not to cast judgement but to acknowledge that we are all somewhere on the road from separation to unity, and the quality of our vibration determines how we express the archetypal energies in the field, as mirrored by the stars in astrology.
The Saturn-Neptune inception point is by its very nature initiating something new into the world, and for some of us this will be a welcome proposition, but for those who are already enjoying wealth, status, privilege and power, the idea of a radical paradigm shift is more than likely going to feel undesirable and something to be resisted. For the masses though, attachments to how things are, even if they aren’t particularly optimal, can also drive resistance; better the suffering we already know than the freedom from suffering we do not know, simply because the very nature of the unknown can be deeply frightening. So we can expect the evolutionary push into the unknown to stir up insecurities leading to all sorts of fear based behaviours.
With Pluto in Aquarius, while there is building momentum toward personal and collective liberation from the past i.e. the establishment and the status quo, the Saturnian side of Aquarius means there will also be those, especially within the elite classes, who will dig down and want things to stay the same. Powerful groups with occult knowledge will want to use this opportunity to promote a paradigm shift toward a dystopian timeline, where hierarchy and control define a technocratic new world order - I myself think this ship has already sailed and is a futile agenda.
What we are seeing since Pluto entered Aquarius is a more granular exposure of the elite classes, and in particular their ungrounded ideologies, which are making life for the working classes worse not better. This is most obvious in Europe, and in particular the UK, where 15,000 people are arrested every year for thought crimes posted online, and Fabian-Society-led elites like Kier Starmer pushing for electronic I.D. as a way to add even more control over people under the false pretence of migration control.
Neptune moving full-time into Aries may express as the rise of radical Islamism to the forefront of the world stage, where the tendency is a belief that violence, assertion and warfare are the only way to make the world a better place. Religious or ideological zeal may also be on the rise.
The Neptune in Aries influence can also be seen in the shift toward strong leadership as a means to solve current world issues; collectively we will tend to value strength, assertion, self-interest, and innovation as the qualities that will lead us out of the mire. This corresponds to the rising popularity of populist new conservatism expressing in political groups such as MAGA in the US, the Reform Party in the UK, and the AFD in Germany, all of which offer radical “unthinkable” policies from the perspective of status-quo-woke-progressive-liberalism, even while to many people (in the UK Reform is top of the polls) these same policies seem, for the most part, reasonable and sensible.
It’s important to understand that liberal progressivism was once an expression of Aquarian idealism; we can track it back to a natural reaction to WWII, where the shadow arose through the expression of Fascism, but now it belongs to the Capricorn-establishment and so the Pluto in Aquarius energy effectively moves against it; evolution must always occur.
Other shadow signatures include the close trine between Typhon in Sagittarius and the Neptune-Saturn conjunction, while opposing Sedna in Gemini: in addition Ixion in Capricorn makes an exact sextile aspect to the Lunar North Node, is square to the Moon and inconjunct Varuna in Leo.
Both these dynamics represent ways the shadow might play out as the paradigm shift initiates. Typhon in Sagittarius really emphasises the potential for ‘belief warfare’, which we may see amplified in religious ideology, but also in other areas such as science, politics, and philosophy. These areas will more than likely be a testing ground as we collectively purge distorted, obsolete or limiting belief systems; regressive philosophies and religious dogmas will reach their expiry date as the planet continues to ascend in frequency.
Typhon opposing Sedna in Gemini will also activate more exposure of systemic abuse, especially child sex-trafficking. This has already been quickened since Sedna moved into Gemini in 2023, but this theme will continue to amplify within the collective evolutionary process, confronting many, and challenging pre-existing beliefs about the world.
Meanwhile Ixion sextile the North Node ties shadow-work to a burgeoning sense of spiritual awakening, linked directly to a stronger personal call to live one’s true potential outside the confines of social expectation and roles. The North Node in Pisces may confront us with our illusions and these may be stripped away as moral corruption and too much service-to-self within our trusted institutions become more and more evident. We might see more government overreach as a means to resist the new rising energy toward a paradigm shift, which will in turn stimulate more and more people to reclaim personal sovereignty. One might say that the reclamation of personal sovereignty is an intrinsic expression of the new emerging paradigm, but it won’t come without some degree of adversity I feel.
A collective resurgence of interest in spirituality
I’ve touched on the idea that the Neptune-Saturn inception point occurs within an evolutionary crucible (see earlier post: Planetary Quickening 2025-2028 which offers added context).
A crucible is a container for intense alchemical processes, where something more elevated is forged. In astrological terms, this crucible is formed by the outer planets Pluto and Uranus, now in harmonious trine with each other, and both in sextile aspect to Neptune and Saturn. The conjunction occurs at the midpoint between Pluto and Uranus. It’s worth emphasising here that this “minor trine” alignment between the 3 major transpersonal planets is another rare and auspicious line up.
The Pluto-Uranus trine represents an evolutionary fruition point of a cycle that seeded in the mid 1960s, and while Pluto is in Aquarius in aspect to Uranus (the ruler of Aquarius), the evolutionary forces driving liberation, humanitarian ideals, and personal awakening are significantly amplified; we are all more deeply motivated toward change, accelerated personal growth, and new ways of making sense of the world and our place within it.
Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, teams up with Uranus the awakener to add their innate qualities to the inception point; this is the seeding of something that is going to propel the world into a new technological era. Its also going to infuse the new pattern with potent transformational and revelational energy.
My sense is that monotheistic religion, a construct of the last Piscean age, and atheism, an early expression of the emerging Aquarian age, born out of the Age of Enlightenment (late 17th century to late 18th century), will now be displaced by a new radical spiritual insurgence in open defiance of science-dogma, distorted ideologies and philosophies, and regressive religious mindsets.
Quaoar and Pholus in conjunction in Capricorn are a key feature of this current time; they moved into conjunction in 2011-2012 and will continue that way until around 2067. I view this conjunction as a marker for the ascension process because Quaoar as a high frequency archetype is anchored into our dimension through the bridging effect of Pholus. Both are benevolent archetypes, and for now there are continual high frequency energy transmissions channeling into our planetary energy system in ways that are radically altering our space-time reality, and by extension all existing structures and systems on a global level, national level, cultural level, community level, family level and personal level.
Quaoar and Pholus are in exact conjunction at the 13th degree of Capricorn, and this energy provides another vital ingredient to the inception point.
We can look to the Sabian symbols for a deeper sense of any degree of the zodiac, and the Sabian symbol for the 13th degree of Capricorn is:
“A fire worshipper meditates on the ultimate realities of existence”
This is a powerful quality because it speaks to the way humanity becomes fascinated by the spiritual and the metaphysical in times when chaos, unrest, uncertainty, and the possibility of total annihilation are at hand. What this means is that the new paradigm will be born out of a collective will to transcend our existing reality; to explore consciousness beyond the bounds of our outer authorities, and while this high frequency conjunction is in exact square to the Moon in Aries, we can expect this new cycle to give rise to a radical break from traditions, as many begin to pursue spirituality on their own terms at an individual level, thus emphasising the possibility that the new paradigm will be built upon a new spiritual engagement.
Whats more, with Makemake and Logos-Zoë opposing the Moon, and in square to Quaoar and Pholus, the new spiritual exploration will link back to our forgotten ancient past, and have the quest for Christ-Sophia consciousness at its heart.
Escapism, disillusionment and reconnection
Another striking signature of the Neptune-Saturn conjunction chart is Mercury conjunct Nessus at 20˚ Pisces, opposing Orcus in Virgo, and semi-sextile to the Ceres-Chiron-Eris stellium in Aries, and the Vesta-Mars-Chariklo stellium in Aquarius.
Semi-sextiles are mild harmonic aspects enabling the various planets involved to enjoy a degree of mutual reciprocity, meaning that they enhance each other. Nessus as an archetype functions to connect us to lost aspects of the self, usually connected to patterns of suffering resulting from unhealthy relationships with the masculine and feminine energy flows within all things.
With Mercury in exact conjunction to Nessus in Pisces, something about the Neptune-Saturn inception point involves the unveiling of an understanding of the way the world really is, regardless of what we were told in early life. It is to begin to understand the nature of suffering, and how suffering serves spiritual growth and awakening, while also moving us to overcome suffering in the world.
When we don’t understand suffering and just instinctively do our best to avoid it, when unavoidable suffering finally occurs it can result in tremendous disillusionment and addiction consciousness; we try to escape what we are really feeling deep inside, without always noticing we are doing it.
The Orcus opposition in Virgo speaks to the less attractive option of actually facing our suffering head on; speaking about it; learning from it; becoming more integrated, stronger and so on.
Our current culture, seems to me, to be largely caught in escape strategies of one kind or another; every quick fix to mollify psycho-emotional pain is on offer, whether it be alcohol, sugar, narcotics, film and television, pulp fiction, sex and porn, A.I. pseudo-relationships etc. I even just read about an A.I. initiative that aims to construct an avatar of the recently deceased so that loved ones can simulate talking to the dead!
A recent UK statistic highlights that over 4.3 million men are deeply disillusioned by the current paradigm, with another 60% feeling partly disillusioned. In 2025 in the Uk and the US, roughly 10% of men between 20-24 years of age are neither in work, seeking work, in training, or raising children; they distrust politicians and institutions, they feel a sense of doom about the future and their prospects, and they instinctively support disruption and efforts to break with the political status-quo. These trends speak to both Saturn and Neptune’s transit through Pisces, as well as Pluto now in Aquarius, and the Mercury-Nessus conjunction adds more to this energy signature, emphasising disillusionment and escapism as intrinsic aspects of the current times.
People like Jordan Peterson have done a lot to help men reframe their life situations toward a more positive and enabled position, where suffering is seen as having a degree of virtue, which can be used to turn one’s life around.
At the heart of the Nessus issue is, not surprisingly, the collateral damage caused by gender distortions: on the one side, our Uber-masculine dominant cultures that fixate on outer career success and financial accumulation as virtuous measures of a good life, while downplaying quality of life, relationships, family, parenthood, responsibility, self-awareness and so on - on the other side, damaging effects have been showing up in the last decade through an upsurge of feminine aggression permeating the corporate sector and institutions via wokeism that has no tolerance for certain masculine traits, uses cancel culture and social shaming as a tool to shut down opposition, and so on.
Nessus in Pisces seems to embody very well the suffering caused when we allow this kind of inner conflict to occur, hurting ourselves and the communities we live in as well. The 21st degree of Pisces offers us a sense of hope during these difficult social times, one that begins to envision a new and better future; its pushing many to awaken to new possibilities beyond the status quo.
The new paradigm will need to include the individual capacity to deal with what is real, and to accept personal suffering as meaningful and useful in terms of how we grow and evolve; through humility we can ditch the old ideas of what it means to be successful and review what qualities and virtues we should be aiming for.
There is a lot of talk about “New Earth”, which I think is a good thing, but we mustn’t forget that such a vision has to be forged through sincere inner healing and change. The Nessus-Mercury conjunction links directly to the healing of the feminine symbolised by Ceres and Eris conjunct Chiron, and it also links directly to the healing of the masculine symbolised by Vesta and Chariklo conjunct Mars in Aquarius.
The suggestion here is that the new paradigm is going to be built through the healing and reconciliation of the Divine yin-yang polarity into a more refined and healthy relationship with existence itself, and this is something we each can do actively on our own terms on a day by day basis.
Dark planet
Like fish swimming in a murky cesspool it is very hard for anyone immersed in the False Matrix to know that life can be very different than it is now. Its a very common response to rationalise that humanity has always been at war with itself, and that this is the way things will always be, and its just part of the human condition. These are lazy ideas in my view, in the same way its a lazy anti-curious approach that thinks our planet is unique, alone, and exceptional in the universe; these notions I feel are born out of a controlled conditioned mind.
The only history we are able to access is about the last 8000 years only, when we have indeed been fighting a lot, but homo sapiens sapiens is archeologically shown to have been around for 300,000 years; brain size, potential and capacity is the same now as it was then, so that leaves a great deal of the human story missing.
I often think of this beautiful planet as a dark planet; its something I feel deep inside; a knowing I carry that remembers forgotten eras on this planet that were golden; an intuitive understanding that there are other planets out there that enjoy levels of enlightenment we can only dream of.
I am thankfully not alone in this. Versions of our forgotten story include extra terrestrial invasions in the past, as recorded in ancient Sumerian clay tablets, and before that tales of Atlantis and Lemuria, and before that Hyperborea and so on. Evidence of past high cultures are visible all over the planet, the most obvious being the pyramids of Giza, but the artfully constructed rock walls in Peru that appear fused together, or the huge stones at Baalbek are other examples that provide tantalising clues to our hidden story.
The awakening movement is one that is occurring on several levels; its happening within the red pill tribes, the UFO movement, the psychedelic movement, through meditation groups, the therapeutic sector, and perhaps most importantly through spiritual questing at the individual level.
Awakening occurs in layers that correlate to vibrational shifts into higher frequency states. Frequency is key to what is going on here on this planet, because perception is a direct expression of whatever frequency we are tapping into; the lower the frequency the more limited and separated we feel.
When I say ‘dark planet’ I refer to a planet that is completely controlled by an outer power, and this control is exerted on consciousness itself; a complex system of frequency controls that limit conscious perception. If anyone had any doubts about planetary ascension through collective awakening, one need only look at the radical new ideas within our communities that simply did not exist in 1950.
There is already a shift in consciousness linked directly to a collective elevation in frequency, caused by at least two factors: cosmic high frequency transmissions, mostly via the sun, originating from Source-Love-Intelligence, and the explosion of starseed/wanderer souls now incarnating in ever larger numbers on the planet, who are more able to de-couple from the False Matrix of control, to literally anchor the higher frequencies through the body , which in turn help move the collective mean-frequency gradually higher and higher year by year.
We have however, as far as I can tell, not yet reached a critical mass level of awakening, and it seems promising that the Neptune-Saturn inception point is a reflection of the collective progress that has thus far been made, now heralding a more significant and fundamental energetic turning point.
The war on consciousness
The ascension process has by default led to a war on consciousness because those in alignment with the control system operating on many levels - physical and non-physical - will naturally resist the possibility of global liberation, and do everything in their power to achieve their nefarious aims.
It is a common experience for those identifying as starseed souls to feel tracked, interfered with, and even attacked by forces beyond the visible, in order to prevent these souls from fully awakening to their specific missions and tasks.
Astrology as a technology does not guarantee optimal outcomes; the symbols reflect the energies in play but the archetypes express very differently at different frequencies. We may well be able to foresee the psychic weather, but it is up to us how we utilise this information, and that depends a lot on the state of our consciousness. The Neptune-Saturn inception point will probably express on several levels at once, but in my view despite the resistance, we are in an ascension opportunity, which means we are more likely to reach optimal timelines eventually.
Finally…
The new paradigm begins with a fundamental energetic shift, one that seems to be marked by these rare astrological patterns now occurring. While for those already awakening this shift feels to be happening anyway, but we need to reach a critical mass tipping point in the war on consciousness, and I believe this might indeed now be happening.
The new era will have to go hand in hand with disclosure:
The reclamation of ancient technology
The remediation of the planetary grids
The release of the truth of our forgotten history into the mainstream
The release of withheld technologies including free-energy devices
It must be built on:
A new approach to spirituality as a science and a mystery
The reformation of religions to purge distortions and regressive dogma
New systems and structures e.g. new ways to run our communities, a new elevated quantum financial system, new or reformed law structures protecting innate freedoms etc
New lifestyles free from wage-slavery, aligned to the circadian rhythm, nature and the cosmos
New values and philosophies to build new functional and healthy societies
Healing and remediation strategies for all, as we recover from the waning dark cycle

As we approach the Neptune-Saturn conjunction we will begin to experience a subtle change within our personal processes. Up until now, Saturn has been in a closing balsamic phase with Neptune; this has emphasised the dissolution of obsolete personal structures and frameworks as well as the completion of karmic lessons. The exact conjunction will be a melting point; whatever we have been resisting or holding on to may suddenly dissolve away, or the last remaining structures will finally be released, and this might feel a bit disorientating. There is a very good chance that the structures of values, needs, desires and beliefs we have been so far using to move through life, may dissolve away leaving us wondering where we should be headed now, or confused without a stabilising sense of life direction. If this happens for you, just be aware that any confusion will be temporary, and listen to your gut impulses and heart inspirations to help you take steps forward. For some, the dissolution of structures has certainly already been happening, and it will continue for a while longer as Saturn and Neptune remain close together, even while Saturn slowly moves away from Neptune.
The new era following the conjunction may also feel like we can finally release limiting or dysfunctional patterns in our lives that we have been working on these last years but haven't yet felt the liberation; if we have been working toward significant structural life changes, 2026 could be the year when clear positive movement can finally happen.
