A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The eclipse cycles trigger waves of energy that influence all of us internally and externally. The imprint of energy as captured by the chart calculated for any eclipse, tends to get carried forward in time on a wave for about 6 months, and so makes for a useful method of forecasting.
All eclipses represent a break in the normal transmission of light from the sun, and that means the transmission of spiritual information received at the soul level of our beingness. For me the eclipses represent changes and shifts in the way our self-realisation process unfolds, keeping us in tune with our pre-intended life-purpose prior to incarnation. In essence, eclipse energy imbues us with an impulse, which when acted upon makes us feel like we are on track, energised, and purposeful. How this affects us in detail can only be determined by cross-referencing with a natal birth chart, but we can look to the overall themes to see how the world in general will be influenced, to give us a sense of the psychic weather patterns shaping things over time.
A solar eclipse takes place during a new moon, so it can be viewed as an enhanced new moon. Not only can we receive Higher-Self seed impulses for the coming month, we also can receive awareness that alters our growth path, or new lessons can be initiated, which will carry beyond the month over a 6 month period of time.
To begin with...
This is the second of two eclipses, now closing the eclipse corridor, as we settle into the new karmic flows of energy for the next 6 months. The Lunar Eclipse is effectively an enhanced full moon, this time occurring close to the lunar South Node, emphasising emotional processing related to finishing past lessons.
While the recent Solar Eclipse in Aquarius marked the commencement of karmic opportunities to grow through personal liberation processes built on objective self-awareness, new perspectives, and insight, the Virgo Lunar Eclipse places personal growth in the direction of healing, adjustment, and emotional purification of the past.
We will benefit the most when we agree to attend to our feelings and emotions through self analysis as a means to both understand past growth lessons better, but most of all, through greater humility, to move into acceptance and resolution.
For some this might throw up issues related to lack of self worth, and karma associated with harsh criticism, whether of self or other. Others may be tasked with overcoming patterns of servitude, victimisation or masochism.
Eclipses work together - the solar eclipse, which happened in close square to Uranus, and made it more disruptive and catalysing than other eclipses, has initiated purpose-based changes through some kind of liberation from an outgrown or limited way of mind. Given that we also have an epochal alignment of Neptune and Saturn at 0˚ Aries, which perfected just 3 days after the solar eclipse, whatever has been happening in your personal process will probably link directly to dissolving life structures and new emerging orientations, which is to say we are all moving forward and invited to elevate our frequency to meet the changes happening within the energy system of the planet. The total lunar eclipse will close the acceleration window, which will tend to feel better because we will begin to stabilise, and it will call us to integrate any new changes in the field, through emotional catch up, adjustment, and purification - closing old emotional loops so we can more effectively anchor the new frequencies.

More awakenings through the path of the Divine Feminine
A Cosmic Rectangle aspect occurs when 4 or more planets are aligned in either harmonious trines or sextiles, generating a flow of creative energy that is driven by an inherent tension and polarisation.
Pallas-Athena fuses with the Sun, which now energises the path of wisdom and inner guidance, empowering us to make better sense of past emotional lessons where we may have felt undervalued, victimised, criticised, or taken for granted. Through the cultivation of the inner feminine nature we can better understand how deep seated past patterns currently hold us back. This is quite a significant dynamic operating collectively and at the personal level as well; the world is moving to resolve past patterns.
Jupiter makes a favourable trine to the Sun and Pallas, and a sextile with the Eclipse Moon, symbolising an expansion of emotional awareness deeply connected with goddess energy, which is further activated by a Quaoar/Pholus opposition. The challenge driving all of us will be the new higher frequency energies saturating the planetary system, stimulating us to expanding our sense of connection and belonging, while overcoming limiting patterns of belief that keep us locked in ancestral wounds of separation, or childhood patterns that leave us feeling weak and helpless.
Overall the potential challenges of this lunar eclipse are going to be supported if we are willing to yield to the inner guide.
Powerful new light-codes altering planetary reality
The karmic necessity of learning from past lessons, in order to cultivate greater personal humility, now arises when Saturn has just made exact conjunction to Neptune in Aries, and is now beginning the new phase of a 35 year cycle. As I posit in an earlier post Paradigm Shift 2026, the recent Neptune-Saturn conjunction at 0˚ Aries is initiating something very new in the world, and in metaphysical terms we are bathing in new light-codes emanating from the central sun, which are literally altering the way we relate to space-time.
We are in the midst of a birthing of new spiritual identities, new spiritual pathways, and the dissolution of obsolete social structures and ideologies that don’t dovetail with reality, while also receiving new ‘mission instructions’ that alter the way we move with purpose in the world.
The Neptune-Saturn new phase opportunity is supported by both Varda in Capricorn and Sedna in Gemini; these two goddess energies will be influencing the new light codes coming in now. Varda may well be helping us to seed new high frequency structures in our lives, challenging us to level up our vision of what is possible. Sedna will be furnishing us with soul-based ideation, nourishing new desire impulses with wide open possibility; this is a time when we should let ourselves envision future potentials that deeply resonate with what we most love, without worrying yet about the how and the when. Only as Saturn moves steadily away from Neptune will the practical steps become clear.
The quest for the true story of humanity gains momentum
Makemake forms the apex of a tense and energised T-Square with Quaoar, Pholus and Jupiter. Makemake is also semi-sextile to the Eclipse Moon and inconjunct Pallas and the Sun:
Quaoar and Pholus will continue to stimulate the breakdown of all low frequency societal structures for some time to come, and this eclipse wave, Jupiter is opposing in Cancer: a changing and uncertain world is inevitably challenging our most cherished beliefs this year; we can’t cling to beliefs just because they make us feel safe anymore; reality is changing fast and we are going to just have to keep up!
The main thrust of this opposition though, has a lot to do with our conditioned beliefs about our origin story. Many increasingly accept that the consensus narrative on human origin is tenuous at best, and probably significantly wrong. Who are we if we don’t know where we come from or where we belong? As more and more data emerges, the pressure is building toward a watershed moment when the current authorities defining ancient history will be transcended as collective humanity activates and internalises more open and versatile options.
Makemake, which I see as the keeper of the ancient wisdom and knowledge, is now at the forefront of the evolution of our collective beliefs, so we can expect either personal or collective shifts with regard to the Atlantis hypothesis/myth and pre-diluvial golden age civilisations. This could mean more mind blowing discoveries.
The high frequency transmissions via our sun are effectively stimulating increasing awareness in relation to Atlantis, Lemuria and the forgotten knowledge of past civilisations. In personal terms this could translate as past life awakenings, active palpable resonant attractions to ancient sites or teachings, and data downloads.
How many of us are willing to challenge existing assumptions and beliefs about life even if it destabilises or makes us feel insecure?
The wounded feminine principle continues to evolve through healing processes
A core stellium featuring Chiron conjunct Eris and Ceres in Aries, dovetails with Venus and Uranus by semi-sextile and Hygeia by sextile. I have been struck by the ongoing Chiron-Eris conjunction for some time, now recently joined by Ceres. Much of the war and conflict in the world in recent years has been linked to the healing of collective ancestral wounding, connected with patriarchy and war, in ways that have highlighted the return of the sacred feminine as the only way to move forward.
Now that Neptune has moved longterm into Aries we can expect conflict over religious beliefs, and ideologies in general, to come even more into the forefront of the collective process. For example the building push back in Europe against the muslim burqa, with burqa bans now extending into public places in countries like Italy, Portugal, Switzerland etc is an expression of the conflict between different religious and cultural values, and on a deeper level a conflict between progressive and regressive orientations, both of which are rooted in the old patriarchal pattern now dissolving. In fact we could look at the current Neptune-Saturn new phase conjunction in Aries as the final dissolution of the old patriarchal structure, and the simultaneous birthing of something new.
The recent uprisings in Tehran are another demonstration of the new Neptune in Aries energy, together with the Chiron and Eris conjunction, and the Typhon-Sedna opposition. Typhon in Sagittarius now stirs up chaos and shadow expressions, relative to collective belief systems, in support of new spiritual structures that promote freedom and autonomy (Typhon is in close trine to Neptune and Saturn).

In a similar way, exposure of elite agendas, for example the WEF think tank, clarifies the conflict between the soft communist ideology of the progressive woke elite classes, who have placed their ideology above the welfare of the common people, and the rising tide of populist insurgent energy moving against the hegemony of the political and economic orthodoxy. This clash of beliefs can also be seen occurring between science materialism and spirituality, the medical orthodoxy versus new holistic science, transhumanism versus the sanctity of the human genome as infinitely superior, and of course the political arena at large.
Sedna in Gemini is pushing humanity to recognise the wide range of soul evolutionary intentions that drive a diversity of human life journeys, replete with special purpose and meaning; generalised social customs and totalitarian belief systems simply do not support individual personalised pathways of growth and development. While the shadow of Sagittarius flares up as righteous indignation and false notions of only one universal truth, one way, and one path to one limited expression of God, such distorted masculine control impulses must now contend with the awakening of humanity out of regressive mind control loops, through an ability to think and know for ourselves. Such uprisings occur primarily because souls liberate spiritually from within.
At the heart of these conflicts is the patriarchal distortion rooted in collective survival trauma, which must now be overcome and resolved. As Typhon activates the core distorted beliefs around patriarchal values, a close square to Mars in Pisces highlights how we can either strive to give birth to a new spirituality based on compassion and healthy empathy, or we can let the shadow energies of collective belief distortions (distorted from natural law) drive blind zealous impulsive actions that make sense only in our fantasies but not in reality as it truly is.
The crux of this Virgo Lunar Eclipse cycle is really about cultivating discernment and discrimination, as quite powerful T-Square dynamics activate challenges that either serve to spiritualise and awaken us further (a stellium of 6 in Pisces) or pull us into fantasy bubbles and echo chambers, where we fight blind and messy, thinking we know everything when we don’t.
Healing often goes hand in hand with crisis; we less often reach for remediation and wholeness without some kind of perceived hardship. While in the long term collective humanity is progressing toward greater balance and wholeness, this eclipse chart certainly highlights that there will be a whole lot of grit to deal with as part of the way.
Finally…
The next 6 months will pivot over the struggle between the old systems dying and dissolving, and the new possibilities and desire for greater freedom and autonomy. We may feel this on a personal level too; wanting to move forward while still feeling held back in some way. Lunar eclipses show us where the emotional work is going to take place; namely with resolving and healing past patterns, while also cultivating discernment, and a path of service to the whole, as a way to safeguard and enrich the spiritual awakening process; we don’t want to get swept away by collective forces driven by shadow distortions; through an analytical approach, we can better see reality for what it is and avoid the seduction of fantasy bubbles, group think and escapism.
There is a way to know what is real by staying grounded in what is in front of us on a day by day basis, and to avoid the temptation to spin on irrelevant information and unconscious head-tripping. While the Aquarian Solar Eclipse energy is guiding us to liberate the mind, the Lunar Eclipse energy is asking us to stay real, do the inner work and take things one step at a time.
In the midst of emerging chaos over what is true and real, many more will ignite a personal path of spiritual awakening; we are not what we were taught to be; we are so much more and awakening is simply the process of self-discovery.
