A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The eclipse cycles trigger waves of energy that influence all of us internally and externally. The imprint of energy as captured by the chart calculated for any eclipse, tends to get carried forward in time on a wave for about 6 months, and so makes for a useful method of forecasting.
All eclipses represent a break in the normal transmission of light from the sun, and that means the transmission of spiritual information received at the soul level of our beingness. For me the eclipses represent changes and shifts in the way our self-realisation process unfolds, keeping us in tune with our pre-intended life-purpose prior to incarnation. In essence, eclipse energy imbues us with an impulse, which when acted upon makes us feel like we are on track, energised, and purposeful. How this affects us in detail can only be determined by cross-referencing with a natal birth chart, but we can look to the overall themes to see how the world in general will be influenced, to give us a sense of the psychic weather patterns shaping things over time.
A solar eclipse takes place during a new moon, so it can be viewed as an enhanced new moon. Not only can we receive Higher-Self seed impulses for the coming month, we also can receive awareness that alters our growth path, or new lessons can be initiated, which will carry beyond the month over a 6 month period of time.
To begin with…
The Aquarius Solar Eclipse is also a new moon, and while the eclipse is initiating a change in the karmic flows of energy over the next few weeks defining how we collectively process karma for the next 6 months, it is also initiating new personal growth themes for the next four weeks.
After a month of review, introspection, planning and goal setting typical of a Capricorn lunation, the Aquarius energy now moves us outward again toward more social engagement, new ideas, perspectives, new insights and understanding, as we begin to complete the years personal growth cycle that began at the March equinox last year.
We may become more clear about things we need to finish and release, and this month may also feature more inspiration and vision for what comes next; attention and focus may also be on longer term goals and desires, and we might be surprised by new creative inspirations as we look toward the future.
Objectivity is heightened as well, where deeper understanding of past lessons and experience can be had in ways that liberate us to be more rooted in the present moment. Higher-Self impulses will tend to gravitate toward new ideas and perspectives, ideals, and greater freedom especially from the past e.g. old stories and limiting social conditioning.
The Solar Eclipse opens the eclipse window until the following Lunar Eclipse in about 2 weeks time, during which we can feel like we are in-between worlds; the one we are now leaving behind and the one that is now initiating. When I say ‘worlds’, I mean there is a collective frequency shift affecting the way karma unfolds and an initiation of new karmic themes for the next 6 months, and during an eclipse window we can feel a bit out of sorts as we make subtle adjustments.
The Solar Eclipse occurs close to the lunar North Node, making this moment one that encodes the pattern of future orientated growth impulses; we're moving forward in some way. After a month of deeper introspection, review and goal planning, Aquarius energy will tend to bring us more outward again as we seek input from like minded people, reach for wider and more open perspectives, and start cultivating thoughts that point us in the direction we are now meant to take. Any limiting thoughts and ideas may emerge for release as we become more self-aware this month, and the inspired humanitarian and optimistic energy of Aquarius will continue to drive personal awakening as well.

Potent shifts in collective consciousness throughout 2026
I have written extensively on the auspicious Neptune-Saturn exact conjunction at 0˚ Aries, an event that occurs just 3 days after the solar eclipse. This positions the conjunction within the karmic adjustment window between the Aquarius Solar Eclipse and the Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 3rd.
This is to say that the creative potential of the Neptune-Saturn conjunction will be further enhanced by the Aquarian energies of this solar eclipse, emphasising further initiations into the Age of Aquarius, and highlighting potent new energies now coming into play in ways that can potentially alter personal and collective timelines.
The solar eclipse however, occurs when Saturn and Neptune are still culminating (they have not yet reached exact conjunction) and this means the eclipse wave will still support the dissolution of an old reality over the next 6 months as we make the necessary karmic adjustments toward a more spiritual and altruistic orientation (the North Node is in Pisces).
Furthermore the eclipse itself occurs on the 29th degree of Aquarius, and the Sabian symbol for this degree: “a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis”, indicates a year of initiation and metamorphosis, and in particular an emergence out of a time period of deep inner change, and thus the ripening of inner ‘soul’ work.
The T-Square aspect featuring the solar eclipse opposing Praamzius with Uranus at the apex, puts an emphasis on significant, and at times radical, changes in perception through personal revelations (sometimes induced via shocks and surprise events) that contribute to greater self-realisation and inner coherence.

The dissolution of identity
Perhaps one of the most striking impressions I receive from the symbol of Neptune conjunction Saturn at 0˚ Aries, is the sense that this conjunction will initiate and quicken the release of false identity. Identity politics is a phenomenon rooted in an egocentric cultivation of identity as a means to stay separate, and when we choose to add layer upon layer of subtle differentiation to an assumed identity or set of identities e.g. left, right, liberal, progressive, conservative, vegan, green, paleo, queer, normal, divergent, feminist, neo-feminist, chauvinist, capitalist, communist and so on, we actually become more and more distanced from who we truly are. All these definitions serve to build an edifice of defiance against connection itself, since to be deeply entrenched in false identities is to deny universal belonging.
The ignition of a new spiritual paradigm cuts right through identity politics because once we have broken through and reconnected with the Living Field Matrix that permeates all life, then all of the facades we have been using to defend our aloneness are seen for what they are, and begin to fall away.
This means that the eclipse wave will kick start a building momentum causing false identity strategies, based on unresolved psycho-emotional wounding (after all the gravitation to like minded tribal identities and groups is a desire to belong), to become increasingly redundant and ineffective. As we choose to release attachment to who we think we are, or who we think we ought to be in order to stay safe, then layer by layer we unveil ourselves and see more and more our own innate beauty and power.
The dissolution of identity will be driven by the emergence of spiritual awareness, which in turn promotes the beginning of spiritual practices. Neptune and Saturn are not simply asking us to have wild and whacky spiritual experiences; they are asking us to take responsibility for our innate spiritual nature and get solidly rooted in sustainable spiritual practices - this is a time when our daily practices will go a long way to helping us grow and evolve throughout 2026, while stabilising us through inner self awareness and knowing.
Activation of an inner spiritual life
A key signature of this eclipse wave is Venus and Pallas in close conjunction to the lunar North Node in Pisces. While the Aquarian drive toward a more liberated mind is key to the next 6 months, the realms of ideation will be tempered by activations of the ‘spiritual heart’ centre as well.
In turn this means ‘awakening’ will go hand in hand with a quiet internal spiritual expansion through a growing connection to the inner-guide and the feminine path of wisdom. A Quaoar/Pholus conjunction in Capricorn is sextile to Mercury in Pisces, while opposing Jupiter in Cancer (Mercury and Jupiter are in harmonious trine to each other): heart activations that awaken us to innate spiritual needs and core values are supported by cosmic high frequency transmissions, further opening us up to expanded empathic states or visionary experiences.
The Sacred Masculine and the Sacred Feminine open the way for deeper soul initiations
A tight stellium featuring Mars, Vesta and Chariklo in Aquarius is in a resonant connection with another stellium featuring Ceres, Chiron and Eris in Aries. These two clusters form a Yod aspect with Orcus at the apex.
For some time now Chiron and Eris have been in and out of conjunction in Aries signifying the retrieval of the lost feminine - or shadow feminine, arising through the pain of war and violence. This has been synonymous with deep healing of the wounded feminine. More recently Ceres has added her energy to this process, highlighting integration through the processing of grief and loss, and a return to more wholeness and abundance permeating the collective field.
Mars and Vesta in exact conjunction both activates and liberates the role of the masculine, and it puts emphasis on spiritual action. The wounded and traumatised masculine is now beginning to be taken more seriously within personal inner work (in both men and women).
These two processes are supporting each other, and the subsequent healing of the gender distortions of the False Matrix reality quite naturally awaken more and more people to their soul purpose and path of service to a greater good.
These are significators of a quiet revolution taking place within human beings around the world, who are step by step cultivating an authentic spiritual life, free from control systems and dogmatic or regressive ideas.
The essence of this Yod is the activation of more souls into degrees of autonomous spiritual growth, and the cultivation of a spiritual life. The Yod links directly to both Mercury and Jupiter, since Orcus is in opposition and sextile respectively, and trine to Quaoar and Pholus, emphasising both left and right hemispheres of the brain activating through changes in the planetary field.
Evolutionary pressure to align with soul-purpose
A second Yod featuring Haumea sextile Varda, with Sedna at the apex, serves to activate the Sedna energy. For some of us this could mean a readiness to grapple with personal trauma as a means to liberate and heal. Varda (still in alignment with the Galactic Logos) teams up with Haumea, representing potent light infused regenerative and transformative wave impulses, now revitalising our core soul blueprint, bringing more awareness of our true evolutionary path in life, and potentially sounding a clarion call to many currently lost in a flat-land materialist state of consciousness (False Matrix). For those where unresolved trauma obstructs the living of ones true path, patterns of trauma may well become more clear to us in some way, and the first step will be to seek help in order to resolve and release them.
This is a collective signature, so this will be felt in many ways depending on the level of personal awakening, and the degree that past trauma, both biographical and ancestral, blocks our ability to respond to the soul blueprint expressing as true life purpose. With Typhon in close opposition to Sedna we can expect limiting beliefs to be challenged.
This is a year when the world will be looking to ditch all obsolete systems and structures, keeping only that which works and has relevance in the future. As spiritual activations occur repeatedly, as they have been for some years now, personal life orientation inevitably adjusts and changes with time, and at some point, the collective impact of these deep changes will start affecting outer events, and I would posit that they already do.
Collective adjustments driven by goddess power
A key feature of this eclipse wave are the three Yod aspects activating goddess archetypes. I have already touched on two of these; the 3rd Yod features the Neptune-Saturn conjunction in exact sextile to Sedna with Haumea at the apex. This represents a shift in the energies, and while the Neptune-Saturn conjunction is not quite exact, the inception point of a new potential reality on the planet is richly influenced by a celestial body with an 11,000 year orbit. This suggests that we are in the midst of changes in our world that link back to the great cataclysm that resulted in the younger dryas mini ice-age. It also links to seed codes now being accessed that will bring us closer to resolving the imbalances that expressed in the past as patriarchal distortions. Sedna wisdom is now enriching the seeding of a new world paradigm, and while this happens, another goddess Haumea is brought more into prominence within the collective process, highlighting renewal, regeneration, and metamorphosis. Haumea in Scorpio holds the frequency of feminine power in service to deep soul healing, the revitalisation of death-rebirth processes (which arguably have for a long time been retarded due to over-reliance on masculine virtues), and the ability to evolve and shape-shift.
In personal terms, an element of the eclipse wave will be driving us to embrace deep transformations that result in more personal empowerment. I suspect that for many this evolutionary pressure will arise during healing crises and health issues, but the scope is of course varied.
With so many collective archetypes shifting into new signs, there is going to be a great deal of change, both personally and collectively; we are entering a new era, which I think already started in 2020 with the Pluto-Saturn conjunction in Capricorn. In 2026 all the primary collective archetypes will be in the early degrees of signs - Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune and Saturn in Aries, and Uranus soon in Gemini. In addition Haumea, Sedna, Typhon, Varda, Manwë and Aruwn are also in the early degrees of signs. Whats more, the primary collective planets will all be in either fire or air signs marking a departure from earth and water, and this means that the world is pivoting toward the new rather than digging in and trying to preserve the old. In numerology 2026 resonates with the number 1 [2+0+2+6=10 / 1+0 = 1] The number 1 represents the initiation of a new cycle further emphasising the energy of new beginnings; the tendency toward more control as observed circa 2020 has run its course, and we are now more likely to move away from failing systems and start envisioning better ones.
Finally…
The Aquarius Solar Eclipse will activate a more future forward and altruistic process, one that is in rapport with greater freedom and equality, and certainly more comfortable reaching for new ways of doing things. The collective energy is moving us into new territory, and the presence of 3 Yods highlights that much of personal process will involve constant internal adjustment as we adapt to the changing planetary field. These adjustments will be centred around the healing and balancing of the yin-yang energy flows within our lives (and bodies), and for the most part much of the work will still be internal and “under the hood” so to speak; we might not always know exactly where the process is leading us, but as I mentioned before it represents a quiet revolution through heart awakenings.
With Hygeia trine the Solar Eclipse and Praamzius opposing, the inherently liberating nature of Aquarius is served best when we understand the power of personal healing and integrative processes, while lofty inspirations and ideas are actively tempered by the heart-knowing - or in other words we may have to work to balance the head with the heart and pay particular attention to holistic integrative practices that help us stay balanced and coherent.
