Night 1 of the Galactic Wave

Last year the quantum wave emanation decoded by the ancient Maya as the 8th Galactic Underworld reinitiated for the 3rd time since it began in 1999. This year on August 22nd 2025 the Galactic Wave will move into the 2nd of 13 sub-phases called Night 1 for the next 360 days.

Overview

The Mayan Calendar culminated in 2011-2012 marking a radical change to the ‘game of life’ and a subsequent birthing threshold for new evolutionary potential. The crux of the Mayan Calendar 'end date' referred specifically to a single inscription that said that the “nine step Divinity would appear in his full regalia”, meaning that the full potential of an underlying quantum matrix of reality would be at hand for the first time.

The Mayan Calendar system maps the frequency of unfoldment of creation, through 9 quantum wave emanations (known as underworlds because they underpin reality) originating from the One Creator (the Maya considered this to be Hunab Ku: the One giver of movement and measure, located at the galactic centre i.e. the galactic logos).

These 9 quantum waves are the primary ‘building blocks’ of reality, and each one vibrates at a specific frequency, which expresses through time - for example the 1st quantum wave of creation (cellular underworld) cycles every 16.4 billion years, while the 6th wave (national underworld) cycles every 5125 years

The Mayan perspective posits that the metaphysical structure of creation itself has, until recently, still been rolling out. In biblical terms, although God creates existence in 7 symbolic days, the end of day 7 only occurred in 2012!

From our human perspective, most of the quantum creation wave emanations are so vast and long that relative to our short lives they don’t change in discernible ways, but the last 3 waves are of more interest:

The Planetary Wave 7 initiated in AD 1755, cycling every 256 years

The Galactic Wave 8 initiated in Jan 1999, cycling every 12.8 years

The Universal Wave 9 initiated in Mar 2011, cycling every 234 days

In this post I will be exploring a shift of the Galactic Wave from ‘Day 1’ to ‘Night 1’

The Galactic wave re-birthed and began its 3rd 12.8 year cycle last year (see an earlier post: A New Galactic Day Cycle, where I cover in more detail how the galactic wave unfolds)

The Galactic Wave

In 2012 when the entire wave expression completed its first ‘transmission’, we can assume the universe entered into a new era of evolutionary potential. Notably at that time all the quantum creation waves rebooted through a catabolic ‘night cycle’; all nine waves began with ‘Night 1’, which emphasised an acceleration of the breakdown of our existing paradigms.

Each quantum creation wave can be sub-divided into 13 sub-cycles of 7 symbolic days and 6 nights. In terms of the Galactic Wave frequency, each day or night is 360 days long, but for the lower frequency waves like the Planetary 7th Wave, we are still in a night cycle (the first shift into Day 1 will occur in 2032, which will be very significant).

Day cycles are associated with expansion, new awareness, new creativity, and a strong evolutionary impulse.

Night cycles are associated with decline, breakdown of the old systems, resistance to evolution, gestation, rest and integration.

The Galactic Wave is attributed to right brain activation, the return of the feminine experiential path (as different from the intellectual), and the awakening of human consciousness, through which we are stimulated to become more multi-dimensional, holistic, environmentally aware, cooperative and heart centred.

Last year, the Galactic Wave cycle moved out of a catabolic state, when it renewed through a Day cycle; I posit that the next 12.8 years will be marked by emergent new creativity and innovation as we remember our place within the Galactic Milieu. From 2012-2024 we were experiencing mostly the breakdown of metaphysical structures (impacting manifest reality), preparing a new openness for expanded new consciousness to arise. We might see this past 12.8 year period as a time of significant purification of the heart centre. Now we are in the process of grounding and anchoring within ourselves the seeds of a new experience of reality through a more open heart.

Since August 2024, we have certainly seen an acceleration of change at a global scale. The newly elected Trump administration have very quickly disrupted the existing status quo in ways that excite or unsettle some, and enrage others. Its worth mentioning that Trump was elected just as Pluto entered Aquarius full time for the next 20 years, and the Aquarian influence is clear to see. But what we see for the most part appears to be part of the process of systems breakdown, and a clear emergence of a more coherent anti-globalist movement.

My suggestion is that while the main news is focused on the catabolic nature of these times, the real revolution is happening on the inside in millions of souls, who are now gently, or not so gently, awakening to reality with brand new eyes.

Night 1

The Galactic Wave has always been stimulating an activation of the heart-mind connection since 1999, bringing balance to our sense-making through the awakening of intuition and higher-self connection.

Last year, fresh new impulses were generating within those receptive to the higher frequencies, and my sense is that many of us have been reaching new levels of capacity and sovereingty, while the world around us has become more chaotic and uncertain. I can certainly say this has been true for me - it feels like my entire framework for what is real and what is meaningful has shape-shifted in more radical ways than expected; I can feel a new orientation emerging but I haven’t understood it yet.

Night 1 creates a reaction to whatever was seeded in Day 1, and for the next 360 days we can expect some aspect of our process to move into gestation. Its like we are having to make the inner adjustments to whatever the incoming Galactic Wave transmission is for us; choices are having to be made with regard to how we will respond to the new energies coming in.

While the frequency of a new consciousness is seeding within us (as per our invitation, either at the conscious level or the unconscious soul level), our pre-existing structures and frameworks must either be released or must adapt and evolve. Inevitably there will be an element of challenge and resistance; our personal status quo may defend itself and try to stay the same.

This of course will reflect at the global level as well. New ideas, inspirations, and impulses, now emergent within the population, may feel the push back of the existing systems and institutions run by our elite classes. While some may react positively to the new incoming Galactic Wave frequencies, others may react in more destructive and regressive ways.

An astrological context

In astrological terms, we are entering a potent corridor of radical change:

The primary outer planets: Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are now all at 1˚-2˚ of a sign, while also either in harmonious trine or complimentary sextile with each other. The consensus among astrologers is that this alignment at the first degrees of signs has not happened for at least 12,000 years. The beneficial nature of these aspect dynamics with planetary archetypes that strongly influence collective evolution is highly indicative of an acceleration of human evolution, with subsequent changes to our world to follow.

In addition, Pluto is soon to move “out-of-bounds” for the first time since WWII, amplifying the Pluto-in-Aquarius impulse toward a rebalancing of power and a more equitable world.

With this in mind it is hard to say for sure how Night 1 of the Galactic Wave will contribute to the way things unfold, but I think part of our personal process will be deeply and richly about how we each respond to the Galactic Wave process that drives human awakening at this time:

Are we ready to release the old reality and cultivate a new one?

Are our attachments to what we know a form of resistance to what is coming?

Night 1 is the yin counterpart to the yang Day 1 (all of the last year). I think we can expect personal process to involve more clearing out of the old on many levels including physical purging, emotional and mental recapitulation and resolution, and holistic healing on all levels through purification processes. The gestational nature of Night 1 implies the growth and nurturance of the new consciousness, which will be followed in Day 2 by some kind of birth in the form of new awareness. There may be an emphasis on internal sorting and sifting; what to keep and what not to keep?

Blue Hand Tribe & Blue Monkey Tribe

We can look to the Mayan day sign and tone for the 22nd Aug 2025 to get a sense of the imprinted energy for Night 1.

In the traditional Mayan count it is Tone 3 transmitting through the sign of the Hand [Manik]

Using the contemporary Dreamspell it is Tone 8 transmitting through the sign of the Monkey [Chuen]

Since both calculations have something to offer I will integrate both symbols:

Its noteworthy that Night 1 in the traditional system corresponds to the Hand as it did at the commencement of Day 1 last year. Only the tone has shifted from tone 7 (stillness) to tone 3 (movement).

The Hand represents a gateway from one understanding to another; it is the gateway of initiation, which is still open for another year. Hand is also about cooperation and connection, and is the builder of a new world; the hand connects, builds and heals. Tone 3 is related to electricity and is more dynamic and external than last years tone 7. Tone 3 is expansive and communicative, energy moves toward the resolution of duality.

This will be another threshold year both internally and externally, but we are tasked more with integrating rather than just receiving. How are we shape-shifting our personal internal environment in the coming weeks and months (thoughts, beliefs, emotions and behaviours) to make space for the emergent? How much inner movement will we allow? How radical a change?

The Monkey represents a state of innocence similar to that of a child; it is to be radically open and trusting and to be in joy and wonder. Monkey knows we live in a magical universe; reality listens to us, serves us and responds to us. This suggests that part of our inner gestation is to reconnect with the Divine Child in order to anchor in the new frequency. Tone 8 is the ray of harmonic resonance; we are being called to create a flow of harmony in our lives through radical openness and trust, and to let harmonic resonance i.e that which feels good at the heart level, be the way we navigate.

Both calculation systems offer us day signs attributed to the direction of West (blue). The West is most often associated with deep healing, death\rebirth, empowerment and transformation.

The synergy of these symbols invites us to continue stepping through the gateway to new expanded understanding about ourselves and the world, while paying attention to the natural rhythm and resonances guiding us moment by moment. It is through the cultivation of an open trusting attitude, one that is in appreciation and wonder, that we can find a degree of peace we can carry into the world.

We should also be mindful of unexpected disruptions if a limited mind is stifling this process; Monkey magic can be a trickster like Coyote medicine, bringing unexpected novelty and spontaneity in ways that break down resistant forms; walls may tumble, the cracks in our ‘perfect’ world may get us to smile as the illumination of higher-self shines through.

Above all the coming year in terms of the Galactic Wave will ask us to let aspects of ourselves go in order to make space for new perspectives, and to release core limitations of the mind that disconnect us from our power on all levels. Power as the capacity to determine our true path; power as the capacity to say no; power as the capacity to heal; power to change and actualise

Finally…

While this post focuses on just the Galactic Wave, its worth remembering that all 9 quantum creation waves are active, which means changes in the Galactic Wave interweave with the other creation waves, and the Universal Wave for example, which cycles every 234 days, is moving through Day and Night sub-cycles every 18 days. The Universal Wave operates at the frequency of unity-love, and when we are ready to fully attune to it, will activate whole-brain perception i.e. a perfect balance between heart and mind via a synergy of both hemispheres of the brain.

It is easy to observe that the majority on the planet are not expressing unity consciousness, which suggests the Universal Wave is less influential right now. We are however seeing significant numbers waking up to multi-dimensional reality via attunement to and integration with the Galactic Wave, which activates the right-brain intuitive function and heart-awareness, through which awakening takes place. One could say that the Galactic Wave underlies the first stages of awakening, while the Universal Wave activates higher more advanced states.

When the Planetary Wave shifts from Night 1 to Day 1 in 2032, I think we will begin to see new innovations altering the fabric of our societies in more tangible ways, a phase that will last nearly 20 years. It makes sense however that such positive changes in the world will only be possible through the global awakening driven by the Galactic and Universal Waves.
