June Solstice Forecast 2025

Preamble:
In astrology, the solstices and equinoxes occur when the sun enters one of the four cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, and the cardinal signs act as doorways for metaphysical energy to more easily influence the field; they tend to initiate change. For this reason, much like with eclipses, which are also liminal magical gateways, we can use a chart cast for these days to gather useful information about human evolution and its affect on the world. I use the term magical in the sense of spiritual energy shaping matter, or the power of Mind to influence outcome, and in the case of the solstice for about 3-6 months.
The sun is central to the evolution of consciousness on the planet, and is directly linked to sun-spot activity and the transmission of visible and invisible light, and throughout the year, pulses of energy pour into the human collective field and the Gaian energy system, much like notes played on a piano generating a shifting musical chord over time. In this way the forecasts are best understood together and not just as sole events, but rather as energy downloads that mix and merge with those that came before.
Astrological symbols express quite differently depending on one's core vibration of consciousness, so there are numerous ways we each can experience how the cosmic energies in play move us. In addition I work increasingly with the newer archetypes correlating to new celestial bodies discovered since 2000. These newer archetypes operate at much higher vibrations than the traditional more personal ones, and this means that the more we ascend in vibration the more we become conscious of these newer cosmic players, and the more they influence us.
I write from an esoteric foundation and aim to decode causative patterns rather than the effects. I am not trying to predict exactly what will happen in the world, but rather to unveil the nature of the energy unfolding and the evolutionary opportunity available to all of us, so we are better prepared to respond individually.
To begin with…
This year the Cancer New Moon occurs just 4 days after the June Solstice, and this means there will be very little change (although some) between the Solstice and New Moon charts. For this reason I will focus specifically on collective dynamics in this forecast and put more attention on the personal spiritual side in the New Moon Forecast coming soon after.
After a potent March Equinox infusion (midway between eclipses), the Solstice energies now add to the evolutionary picture and carry us forward for the next 3 months. The Quaoar/Pholus exact conjunction in Capricorn sets the quantum foundation for this time period. The Sabian symbol for the 11th degree of Capricorn is associated with “Aristocracy”, and the word itself means “rule of the best”, which later became synonymous with the higher nobility. Since Quaoar and Pholus are acting as a channel for quantum high frequency energy into the structures on Earth, we can begin to see the so called “elite classes” becoming the focus of disruption, change and awakening.
At the same time the seeds for new structures may begin to germinate within the collective mind, and eventually lead to new systems that select the best of humanity (the best ideas, morals, ethics, creativity, empathy, spirituality etc) to oversee our cultural and global systems in the future.
On a broader level we can be reminded that system shake ups on all levels will continue, and will penetrate the protected “elite bubbles” that money and influence create, bringing light and new awareness therein. This tallies with the new Pluto in Aquarius directive, which will no doubt expose and bring up to the surface the nature of the elite classes and their influence on the world, which has already begun.
This solstice wave features 2 Yods and 2 Grand Trines, providing a balance of both yin and yang forces, so lets take a deeper look on the archetypal themes on offer over the next 3 months…

Worship in the temple of the goddess
Jupiter has recently entered the sign of Cancer where he is traditionally exalted. He is joined by both Asbolus and the Sun, and he will soon undergo a death and renewal (with the Sun) at the new moon! Jupiter will transit Cancer over the next year, where he literally activates the primordial womb of the Divine Mother. The coincidence of his ingress into Cancer at the Solstice adds a boost of energy to this evolutionary theme.
The word ‘worship’ means to acknowledge the worth of something, and Jupiter typically brings in a benevolent expansive energy wherever he goes. We can expect the year ahead to draw us to a celebration of the Goddess in all her forms, whether we see her in the body physical as the temple of the soul, the earth we walk upon, the food we grow and eat, or as inner qualities such as empathy, sensitivity, devotion, remembrance, connection, compassion, emotional intelligence, healing, nurture and so on. This can only be of benefit during these fast changing times.
The Jupiter in Cancer theme will encourage us to celebrate life and initiate a period of fecundity, where the expansive energies of Jupiter can lend a helping hand to any creative idea or project we are currently gestating, birthing or nurturing.
We are culturally very used to the more masculine driving mode expressing as ambition, striving and fighting for what we want in life, but this year we are invited to see what happens when we invite the Goddess into our lives and count her blessings. Some of us may well already be acquainted with the Goddess, so this may be familiar territory; the energy of renewal and rebirth, and for those who haven’t yet thought about connecting with the Goddess archetypes formally or directly, this year is a good time to start.
For many of us, part of the spiritual road to wholeness requires us to reconnect with the Goddess in her many forms and to discover the rich flowing abundance of the Divine Feminine as we allow it more and more into our lives.
With Asbolus in close conjunction, the Goddess connection opens us up to an awareness and understanding of the Living Field Matrix as an underlying intelligence within all things that we can connect with, and communicate with, in ways that help us navigate life in alignment with the Higher Power. This is further enhanced by a trine to Haumea, a goddess of nature and renewal, where the worship of the natural world will increase our collective awareness and value of nature’s pharmacy e.g. medicinal plants and food as medicine, recognised as potent and effective ways through which we can regenerate energy levels and overall health and wellbeing. The trine with Haumea also opens us up to a greater connection with nature, and deeper still, through psychoactive plants.
Jupiter is associated with the mystic and the seeker of wisdom and truth, and while he was in Gemini, we may have seen a collective move toward the softening of the left-brain dual-mind, through an activation of the intuition. Now the intuition immerses in the primordial spiritual waters, where we navigate with the feeling function, as we are invited to explore reality through the awakening of the heart-mind in ways that can balance and temper the collective predilection toward the masculine linear and divided perceptual mode. This feels so important at a time when words and ideas can so easily divide us and lead to more and more conflict.
Through the Goddess activation, made more possible with Jupiter in Cancer, there is real scope to cultivate a more heart-centred way of being as we move forward in the world. This I think is going to be helpful given that Neptune is now in Aries - the temple of the god.
The Neptune-Saturn conjunction in Aries is in close square to the Jupiter's ingress into Cancer and the Solstice Sun, highlighting an inherent tension between these two collective changes now occurring.
The return of the Divine Masculine
In an earlier post: The False Matrix, I propose that humanity is engulfed by a super-egregor (a 4th dimensional entity or mind-virus) that has maintained its co-existence through the suppression of the feminine principle, which in turn generated distortions in both the masculine and the feminine expressions; what we today refer to as ‘toxic masculinity’ and ‘toxic femininity’.
Neptune conjunct Saturn in Aries will to some extent energise a tendency to see masculine traits as both essential and worthy in a post-progressive world. The post-modern progressive movement has I think done what it needed to do; it highlighted the forgotten minorities in our midst; it strove to expose inequality and foster inclusion and so on. Postmodern people are a more sensitive and informed bunch than previous generations. This is not to say that we have achieved true equality and tolerance by any means (this is obvious to see), but rather that the seeds have been sown, and that progressivism has peaked and is now running out of steam; we need to continue to evolve through the new Aquarian impulse, but with a new approach.
My proposition is that collective cataclysmic trauma patterns are at the heart of the emergence of patriarchal cultures in recent human history (the last 15,000 years or so), and the subsequent rebellion against too much control and structure, peaking now through postmodern thinking that has gone so far as to dispense with measures such as ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ and gender definitions, while riding on an unrestrained and largely unacknowledged socio-economic ideology i.e. neo-liberalism (greed is good/freedom without responsibility).
While I often speak about the return of the true feminine in order to highlight the fact that despite the women’s liberation movement, we are still mired in a culture that worships masculine traits and suppresses feminine ones, its fair to say that we are also engaged in the evolution of the masculine mode. This is to say that the future masculine will not look like it does today, as it will eventually evolve out of the False Matrix distortion; we will all be happier when the yin and yang energy currents flow in healthy balanced ways; those of us who embody feminine traits should be valued as highly as those who embody masculine ones, both socially and financially.
Progressivism for the most part has become an expression of the shadow-feminine in recent years; unrestrained empathy for the victim; cancel culture; social shaming; the erosion of the individual; strict compliance to collective ideals and so on. It has also, until recently, been an agent of the Aquarian impulse, until it became mired in the status quo.
The Pluto in Aquarius evolutionary drive is toward greater equality and fairness for all, and we are seeing this emerging now through the new conservatism that values men (after a cycle of devaluing masculine traits), but has learned something from 30-40 years of liberalism.
When Neptune and Saturn come together in Aries, the archetypal theme is going to be, to some extent, about a return to masculine qualities viewed as an ideal or a solution to the current challenges. We are already seeing this in the change in politics, with the polls (in the US and Europe) showing more and more people pushing against immigration and weak border control.
The healthy masculine is a natural protector, and protection implies a border between what is ours to be responsible for and whatever lies beyond. The key insight is that we will always tend toward extremes if we opt in favour of either the masculine or the feminine; we need to honour and elevate both, and I suggest that much of what we see playing out on the world stage is our collective process of integration, and the square aspect between Neptune and Saturn in Aries, and Jupiter conjunct the solstice Sun in Cancer, will add a degree of evolutionary tension this year.
If we consider that Neptune in Aries may well be initiating a new spiritual awareness on the planet, the square to Jupiter in Cancer marks the next 3 months as a time for us to really immerse in Goddess energy as we birth something new, literally through the primordial womb of Cancer!
This Goddess immersion, through a deeply intuitive process, forms part of a Yod with Mars and Pluto; a growing intuitive engagement with Goddess energy will harmonise well with desire impulses to heal and grow, while governed by an evolutionary directive to liberate from social conditioning and dogma in order to reach new levels of awareness and freedom.
Neptune and Saturn in Aries also feature in a Yod with Mors-Somnus, and the goddess Haumea at the apex: the return of the Divine Masculine will serve to help more people to wake up from the collective hypnotic trance, but the renewal of the masculine will be aligning more and more with the Divine Feminine - Haumea at the apex serves to control any potential excess of the new masculine energy. When I say new, I sense that what is coming will be very different from what has come before, and this is to be expected because as we integrate the suppressed feminine energies represented by archetypes such as Sedna and Eris, the masculine expressions will also evolve and change. 2025-2026 could mark the emergence of a new elevated masculine expression, seeding in the world and emerging in the years to come.
The Saturn Jupiter Squares: Aug 2024 - June 2025
Jupiter is now making his 3rd and final square (June 15th 2025) to Saturn, initiating changes that began with the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction at 0˚ Aquarius on the December solstice of 2020. The Saturn-Jupiter synodic cycle represents the evolution of order and structure in the outer-world, through leadership, governmental institutions, and societal structures, while at the personal level it is anchored in the evolution of purpose and meaning relative to karma, beliefs and life lessons.
The Saturn-Jupiter cycle is approximately 20 years, and back in 2020 we saw the beginnings of a shift from an old world order to something new. This was marked by three major conjunctions in 2020: a Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, a Jupiter-Pluto conjunction also in Capricorn, followed soon after by the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius - all these were major indications that the world was going to change in powerful and radical ways, which of course we are now seeing very clearly today.
The Saturn-Jupiter cycle-rebirth through freedom-loving, humanitarian, and future forward Aquarius, has since progressed to the square - a crisis or struggle in action; we are seeing the arising of some of this new Aquarian evolutionary energy, bringing changes to the world through shifts in the balance of power i.e. changes in institutions and leadership. We have seen for example the death of the pope during this time and the election of a new one. We are also seeing more clearly how the elite classes are moving against democracy by actively suppressing any opposition. This sense of political crisis in Europe has been increasing since last year with a rapid growing support for populist political parties in recent months e.g. The Reform Party in the UK, the AFD party in Germany and the National Party in France all of whom stand in opposition to the policies of the existing globalist multicultural elite classes. This June sees the last of 3 squares, with Jupiter making conjunction with the Sun on June 24th, so we can expect to see some critical changes taking place linked to revised new understanding about situations in the world. Some of this is already playing out with the titanic battle between 'brothers' now turned enemies: Trump vs Musk - inevitably the shadow aspects keep coming to the surface, and the old order of things e.g. capitalist self interest, is showing itself as both a destructive and defunct cultural norm.
These changes in the way we see things will potentially be radical, liberating and life changing. This of course will change the complex dynamics in play on the world stage.
The 2 Grand Trines
Grand Trines occur when 3 or more archetypes align such that each is 120˚ from the others, creating an equilateral triangle in the chart. Typically the archetypes are in the same element and as such have something in common with each other [although not always]. Grand Trines represent amplified ‘easy’ and often helpful energy dynamics, which can offset or even optimise challenging aspects like squares or oppositions.
The Grand Fire Trine has been active for quite some time now because it involves slower moving celestial bodies. It features Chiron, Praamzius and Varda; the benevolent and cohering energy of Varda (Star consciousness/ ET contact) and Praamzius (Solar deity that governs Earth) team up with Chiron the wounded healer and spiritual initiator in the warrior sign of Aries. On one level this describes the ongoing activation of large numbers of people by ET CE5 contact experiences or Higher-Self experiences, which catalyse or awaken the spiritual warrior archetype within. The Fire signs all tend to activate, spiritualise and generate movement or action, and these energies are anchored into space-time reality through Chiron, bringing spiritual activations right into the body at the cellular level.
The Grand Water Trine features Typhon, T-Wako and Mercury, and the Water element means energy moving through the emotions and the watery feeling realms of spirit and psyche. Typhon and T-Wako are both slow moving bodies representing energy either from the underworld or the quantum realm respectively. Typhon in Scorpio is stirring up the shadows in collective humanity, encouraging us to deal with whatever is suppressed or repressed. Through Scorpio the shadow-work is intensified. The turbulent and challenging aspects of Typhon are somewhat mitigated by T-Wako, an archetype connected to spiritual alchemy and the harmonisation of apparent opposites; T-Wako is an ordering principle stabilising chaotic energy patterns. Both these archetypes are harmonised and grounded through Mercury in Cancer, so there is real scope for us to communicate deep feelings and emotional states tied to core patterns of suffering, especially within healing or therapeutic situations, over the next 3 months. This Grand Trine is linked to the North Node in Pisces, making this a good time for shadow integration work in ways that can bring mental clarity to long held issues. Typhon in Scorpio has been an ongoing influence in collective evolution, especially having been activated by an opposition to Uranus in Taurus (now waning). This Water Trine offers a collective opportunity to bring new levels of reconciliation to deep seated destructive patterns in human society.
If you find yourself in a turbulent shadow eruption, know that its emergence is there to help you move forward toward greater spiritual understanding and forgiveness.
Finally…
The Sun and Moon are in a helpful and constructive exact sextile aspect (60˚) making the solstice festival well suited to the celebration of the sacred through the earthy sign of Taurus this year. The Moon is also trine to Mars and directly opposite Haumea (the goddess of nature, healing and renewal) adding more harmony toward sacred ritual during this time.
Venus in her home sign of Taurus now makes a beneficial conjunction with Albion. The Solstice celebrations this year have the goddess of love resplendent in the bountiful and sensual earthy sign of Taurus and her proximity to Albion will greatly amplify the abundant energies of love and generosity. The day itself will be blessed with this auspicious fusion; Albion is the enlightened human expressing the higher nature of humanity through the heart in very practical ways. Lets take heed of this invitation and give ourselves permission to be more abundant, loving, and generous from now until September and beyond. Through loving acceptance of what is, we will be better able to respond to the evolutionary dynamics in play, which I will cover in more detail at the personal spiritual level in the following Cancer New Moon forecast coming soon.
