A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
In astrology, the solstices and equinoxes occur when the sun enters one of the four cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, and the cardinal signs act as doorways for metaphysical energy to more easily influence the field; they tend to initiate change. For this reason, much like with eclipses, which are also liminal magical gateways, we can use a chart cast for these days to gather useful information about human evolution and its affect on the world. I use the term magical in the sense of spiritual energy shaping matter, or the power of Mind to influence outcome, and in the case of the solstice for about 3-6 months.
The sun is central to the evolution of consciousness on the planet, and is directly linked to sun-spot activity and the transmission of visible and invisible light, and throughout the year, pulses of energy pour into the human collective field and the Gaian energy system, much like notes played on a piano generating a shifting musical chord over time. In this way the forecasts are best understood together and not just as sole events, but rather as energy downloads that mix and merge with those that came before.
Astrological symbols express quite differently depending on one's core vibration of consciousness, so there are numerous ways we each can experience how the cosmic energies in play move us. In addition I work increasingly with the newer archetypes correlating to new celestial bodies discovered since 2000. These newer archetypes operate at much higher vibrations than the traditional more personal ones, and this means that the more we ascend in vibration the more we become conscious of these newer cosmic players, and the more they influence us.
I write from an esoteric foundation and aim to decode causative patterns rather than the effects. I am not trying to predict exactly what will happen in the world, but rather to unveil the nature of the energy unfolding and the evolutionary opportunity available to all of us, so we are better prepared to respond individually.
To begin with…
This December solstice occurs on the heels of a Sagittarius New Moon just 37 hours before; the liminal window when cosmic energy more potently influences the planetary field is extended, not only amplifying the solstice energies but adding to them a quality of renewal (new moon energy), which will carry over for the next three months.
While there is little difference between the charts cast for the Sagittarius New Moon and the December Solstice, I will be looking to more collective patterns in this forecast, and highlighting our collective evolutionary context as we approach the threshold of a new secular year.
Due to the confluence of both events within the same liminal window, I recommend reading both forecasts for a more nuanced appreciation of the archetypal energies in play.
Its been a year of intense energy activations, with lots and lots to process both personally and within the collective field, where we are seeing a great deal of activity in keeping with the Pluto in Aquarius evolutionary drive toward liberation, freedom and revolution.
While the Sagittarius lunation stimulates many toward philosophical inquiry as we try to make sense of our lives in the tumult of shared information detailing world events like never before, the solstice energy marks a turning point in the yearly growth cycle, inviting us to bring to culmination whatever we have been working on since the March equinox.

The December Solstice (in this epoch) aligns more or less with the galactic centre, which is located 25˚-29˚ Sagittarius, and every year while the secular 'interpretation' of Christmas tends to bring us out into social engagement and revelry, there is significant spiritual opportunity to receive information about our life path and unfolding purpose by doing the exact opposite; withdrawing more into silence and nature in order to activate the alpha brainwave state that opens us up to higher guidance and insight. The alignment with the galactic centre offers enhanced cosmic connection with Infinite Source Intelligence.
The placement of Christmas Day exactly three days after the Solstice marks the most potent day where the Solstice energies reach a peak, and I suggest this is by no accident.
With this in mind lets take a deeper look at the Solstice chart to better understand the archetypal themes on offer from now until March 2026. Just remember that I will focus more on collective patterns in this forecast, and the Sagittarius New Moon forecast will focus on more personal growth themes.

Powerful light-infusions continue to awaken humanity
The recent Sagittarius New Moon opened a liminal window allowing powerful light transmissions from the Galactic Logos (through Varda) to fuse with Higher-Self guidance for the coming month. The Solstice takes this light infusion to a planetary level, setting in motion a pulse wave that will reinitiate at the March equinox, when instead of the Varda frequencies being amplified, it will be her consort Manwë’s energies that will activate (Manwë will be just 3˚ away from the Equinox Sun).
Varda and Manwë belong to the newer trans-Neptunian celestial bodies discovered since 2000, and both represent powerful high frequency light energies. Their names are taken from Tolkien’s complex mythology, representing forces of light that powerfully oppose the forces of darkness.
We can think of these energies as similar to higher-order angelic intelligences. I think of Varda as an expression of the illuminated Sophia - the Goddess of Heaven and the Mother of the Stars. Manwë as her consort is in service to her, representing the masculine aspect of the same ‘flame’; one that sees clearly, penetrates illusions and is defender of the light.
These two archetypes are currently square to each other; in essence Varda is now activating the “Light-Warrior” archetype within those who are ready for that path; the energy that is “defender of the light” is now activating across the planet adding momentum to planetary liberation.
Meanwhile Quaoar (another high frequency archetype) in exact conjunction to Pholus in Capricorn (a Centaur that bridges dimensional realms) symbolises the vanguard of high frequency light transmissions influencing collective humanity. These two have been in close conjunction for some years now and will continue to be so for many more years through until 2065. While in Capricorn the brunt of these high frequency energies coming from Quaoar, and then stepped down through the mind-body via Pholus, are having a powerful impact on our perception of reality, society, culture, and by extension to outer authorities, institutions, systems and norms. In essence they are stirring up the lower frequency aspects of reality to be released as the planet ascends in vibration toward love and peace.
Quaoar and Pholus currently form the apex of a tense T-Square with Salacia opposing Makemake, adding to the collective long term evolutionary picture. Both Salacia and Makemake belong to the trans-Neptunian group of new celestial bodies, which means they operate at a quantum level. This then is a high-frequency aspect that is stepped down and bridged into our current frequency of experience through Pholus at the apex; Pholus becomes the focal point of experience through which the past and future meet.
Pholus as an archetype is associated with sudden leaps in consciousness through the principle of death and transcendence; we reach a watershed moment and find ourselves catapulted to a new level of seeing things, and because Pholus is in Capricorn, this new way of seeing things fundamentally alters the structure of our personal reality, at times redefining our personal sense of direction and self-determination.
The T-Square represents an ongoing high-frequency pressure dynamic generating periodic collective watershed moments that significantly alter collective perception over time and any associated memes. Salacia and Makemake provide tension through polarity: an evolutionary pressure to reconcile our collective birth into a higher frequency 4th Density level of experience (love and compassion; unity experienced as harmonised diversity) with the karma of our forgotten past. Or put another way: an evolutionary need to overcome collective amnesia of humanity’s past including pre-diluvial high civilisations such as Atlantis and Hyperborea, in order to release the karma as we move collectively onto a 4th Density future timeline [using the Law of One model].
Through the Quaoar-Pholus conjunction in Capricorn there is a rising collective impulse to question outer authorities of all kinds; to question what we have been told about the world we live in, and to question what is real. The fixed collective perception of reality, shaped by controlled narratives and propaganda, which existed circa 1950, is now radically destabilised. For example our idea and understanding of WWII is now very different and more nuanced, in the same way that recent disclosures have altered the public perception of the JFK assassination, or how the Epstein case has caused many to question the British royal family.
The Grand Minor Trine
As detailed in an earlier post Planetary Quickening, for the next few years Pluto, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune (all the traditional outer planets) are in mutual harmonious aspects representing archetypal energy that marks an evolutionary fruition period related to collective awakening, and how this consciousness shift is actively changing reality.
More and more people are beginning to recognise that reality is a holographic field, and that our thoughts in particular have tremendous influence on world events, and dynamically define our personal experiences. In a world when the mass perception is controlled, shaped and manipulated, it follows that the common people have little or no power to effect positive change; movie culture, tv programming, pulp fiction, advertising, news propaganda, social media and so on all serve to contain most people in their own version of the Truman Show.
For those that don’t know the metaphor: The Truman Show was a movie where the main character lives his daily life ignorant of the fact his life is limited to the confines of an elaborate and massive TV studio set, not realising that the real world is far bigger and entirely unknown to him.
As we gradually approach a consensus tipping point, we can expect some sudden and at times radical changes to what is generally accepted as true. My sense is that the unravelling of controlled narratives, whether they be about the origins of the universe, the evolution of humanity, our-story versus history, scientific knowledge, current affairs, woke ideology and so on - although creating a temporary cultural chaos, is a necessary part of the ascension process as we move into more freedom of thought and personal sovereignty; we can think for ourselves if we choose to.
Pluto, Saturn and Neptune have now turned direct, and this means that Saturn and Neptune are now finishing up Pisces lessons as they move fully into Aries early next year. In collective terms there has been a quickening of dissolution of obsolete or lower frequency reality frameworks, a fundamental disillusionment with our current systems and outer-authorities, combined with a great deal of confusion over what is true and real, versus what is false or deceptive. Pluto and Uranus focus a great deal of energy toward evolution and liberation encouraging us to penetrate illusions and awaken from the confines of a False Matrix reality. This isn’t an entirely easy process; disruptions to the status quo will continue, shocks and sudden shifts in the zeitgeist are inevitable as we all grapple with revolutionary change.
At present Quaoar and Pholus are in sextile aspect to the lunar North Node, and together form a Yod aspect with Varuna at the apex. Varuna also features in a Grand Fire Trine with Salacia and Mercury, while Mercury squares the nodes.
This represents an evolutionary challenge regarding how we understand the world; a crisis over how we perceive and wield truth (whether personal or universal) in ways that demand of us that we become more self-aware, more self-realised, and more sovereign.
From now until March, how we communicate our truth matters, and we might find ourselves honing our truth-detector skills. Key lessons for the next 3 months will centre around the purging of blind belief through getting grounded and real, taking the time to self-analyse, and ultimately purifying the mind so that we can understand what is true both personally and universally. We should guard against standing up for beliefs that aren’t based in common reality.
While personal self-limiting structures dissolve or fall away, the karmic imperative is to balance what we perceive with the subtle senses, with healthy protocols that ensure we verify intuition based information with grounded critical thinking. If we do this, we will become more aligned with the Higher Self through expanded heart knowing.
Taking mature and responsible action is key
The Solstice chart activates the Mars function via a conjunction to the Solstice Sun. Mars is in a close square to Manwë, in semi-sextile to Pluto, and in opposition to Hygeia.
While the Sagittarius New Moon cycle is calling us to review, and adjust if necessary, our personal core beliefs as part of the way we expand beyond self-limiting ideas and perceptions. The Solstice energy wave puts a focus on the correct use of will and action.
Mars is activated by the Sun and also Manwë for the next few months. Mars in Capricorn is a cardinal energy that initiates into new experiences, and this quality of ‘birthing into the new’ is also enhanced by the New Moon energy blueprint converging with the Solstice energy wave - new moon energy is always about renewal.
Overall this suggests that from now until March there will be an aspect in play connected to initiating action to engage something new as we move forward. Mars in Capricorn likes to set goals to aim for, and can be very successful at attaining them due to the sustained drive of Capricorn energy, but Mars itself can feel uncomfortable in Capricorn for exactly this reason, like a wild horse that just wants to gallop anywhere feeling tethered to the controlling reins of the horse master.
The message for this time period is that energy and enthusiasm alone is not enough, we need control, commitment, steadfastness and discipline if we are going to get to where we want to go. In global terms, if we want to move the world towards greater freedom and abundance, then more people are going to have to get on board and commit to this vision.
The Manwë square could instil within us a clarity of vision and drive to commit to something worthwhile in early 2026. Starseeds may well be receiving new creative visions and impulses as new levels of the mission activate now. Other souls now awakening may be feeling drawn to make commitments to further liberation, perhaps making key life path changes.
This is a good time to prepare for the self-reflection that typically arises with the Capricorn New Moon in mid January next year:
What new personal goals are we willing to commit to in the coming year?
What really matters enough now that we are willing to commit to specific paths of personal development?
What is ours to be truly responsible for relative to life purpose?
Emerging commitments to the path of love, light and healing
The Solstice Sun is in an exact opposition to Hygeia at 0˚ Cancer, highlighting yet again the path of new beginnings. The goddess Hygeia represents a form of dynamic balance that naturally moves us in and out of healing processes; she is the champion of holistic rituals of wellbeing exquisitely enhanced by her ingress into Cancer, the archetype of care built on self-care.
Any time we deal with asteroid energy, we are essentially working with psychic fragmentation, especially related to violation and loss of integrity. The asteroid belt was once a super ‘earth’ planet called Tiamat that was destroyed. Tiamat, like Gaia, embodied the Divine Feminine energy as does Venus and the Moon.
In order to understand more about Hygeia's activation we can look to the Sabian symbols (contemporary images assigned for every degree of the zodiac much like a Tarot pictogram).
The Sabian symbol for the 1st degree of Cancer is:
On a ship the sailors lower an old flag and raise a new one.
This suggests a change in orientation; an act with consequence; a point of no return - the ego (ship) makes a conscious individualised free decision to align with something that effectively moves us beyond a prior life pattern.
With Hygeia, this freely made conscious decision will involve a move toward feeling better; a change that represents a step toward more self care and self love; a new awareness that helps us move away from stressful or destructive patterns of living, associated with lower frequency energy. In other words to live with less stress and more peace, less challenge and more joy, less pain and more vitality, and less anxiety and more happiness.
Since Mars in Capricorn is also opposing Hygeia, we are going to be challenged to take appropriate responsible action. For many people this will likely correspond to a call to say no to stressful situations and to prioritise health and wellbeing more than before.
The opposition forms a T-Square with Manwë in Aries at the apex. Broadly speaking, Manwë has been activating the archetype of the spiritual warrior in recent years, and we can tie his ingress into Aries to a rebirth of the light into the world and an active push back against dark forces in ways that haven’t happened before. I also think Manwë entering Aries corresponds to the intervention of galactic light forces on behalf of humanity from around 2021 onwards.
The Manwë energies are pushing us to birth a new level of self-care into our personal lives, while also pushing us to make commitments to the path of light; to be a light worker or light warrior in ways we are most suited to, but in a way that is sustainable through proper self care protocols. This represents a formal ‘stepping up’ threshold-opportunity that will have far reaching consequences over time.
Finally…
Varda is just 1˚ from an exact conjunction with the Solstice Sun. She too is in opposition to Hygeia, emphasising new orientations toward the light. Perhaps we will see the ‘birth’ of a new generation of healers into the world, and by extension we might also see the birth of more holistic healing centres throughout the world during 2026.
Varda’s position close to 0˚ Capricorn on the world-axis is another indicator of powerful light infusions in the coming years that will have direct influence on world events. Varda also makes a square to Neptune at the last degree of Pisces; Neptune will imminently rebirth through Aries on Jan 26th 2026. The Solstice wave carries with it a crisis dynamic as the world completes final growth lessons and moves to bring a new level of ascension into reality. For most of us, this will feel like a higher-call to alter life course, bring more of our personal truth out into the open, or a push to accept the new higher frequencies and embody them in day to day life by releasing attachments, karma, and addictions to the past.
With the Moon- Icarus- Vesta conjunction in Capricorn, the notion of a commitment to a higher path, or the deepening and renewal of commitment to one, is likely to be at the forefront of personal process from now until March.
2026 is going to feel pivotal in many ways, and we can expect next year to be dynamic and productive.
