Scorpio New Moon Forecast '24

snakes, moon, lilies, butterflies, birds

Preamble:

The new moon can be thought of as a window in time when the Higher-Self initiates specific lessons or personal growth intentions for the coming month, and we can use the lunar cycle as a way of decoding evolutionary forces at a more granular level than the solar cycle or the transits of the slower moving planets.

For the spiritually minded person, the new moon is a time to receive the seed impulses for one’s personal evolution, and specifically those impulses toward bringing something new into conscious awareness. Each moon cycle fits into a larger cycle, which begins at the Aries new moon, and if you seriously want to track the unfolding pattern of higher-self guidance, it is a really good idea to record a log or journal of key messages and impressions received in the few hours before and after the new moon, roughly 4-5 hours on either side (but even a day on either side can sometimes be very active). During this window of time, make space to be more meditative and pay attention to your thoughts, inspirations, psychic messages and so on, as these will tend to correspond to the archetype the new moon is birthing in at the time, and correlate to the growth themes we are meant to work with during the month.

At some point in time (after a few months) you can look through your log and begin to see a key pattern unfolding, which can stimulate further insight in terms of life purpose.

The Scorpio Journey

Through Scorpio we can elevate base unconscious and instinctive aspects (scorpion) to high visionary and clear perception (eagle) through transformative passages to power (serpent)

The Scorpio New Moon follows a solar eclipse in Libra last month, and Higher-Self impulses this month will probably draw us to look deeper and penetrate surface appearances in order to see greater truth.

Scorpio energy moves toward self-empowerment, deep healing processes, psycho-spiritual awareness and death & rebirth. This can push us to shed old skins, release attachments we no longer need, or strive to overcome perceived personal limitations. The Scorpio process is often intense and emotional, and for some this represents a call to unveil aspects of the personal shadow, and with all the oppositions in the new moon chart, we may find shadow out-picturing in external-life through adversarial figures, or challenges and obstructions that drive us to reach for greater self-empowerment.

Attunement during the new moon period (a day before, during and after) may not yield clear image-based signally; we may instead have to listen for Higher-Self guidance through the feeling mode, so bear that in mind and don’t worry if guidance doesn’t come the way you expect. Relative to the lunar cycle, this month draws us to bring certain processes to an end as we rebirth, and perhaps transform, personal aspects at a granular level.

This lunation chart features an abundance of oppositions and squares, mitigated by a Grand Water Trine, so we can expect this month to feel somewhat challenging as we are stimulated toward objective awareness on personal life-issues. It may be a month of increased contrast as we fine-tune desired objectives moving forward.

The recent solar eclipse in Libra highlights a need to stay balanced and cultivate greater harmonisation within our personal processes, and this will carry forward into the Scorpio New Moon cycle. Lets take a deeper look at the archetypal themes on offer this month…

Outer or inner challenges serve to stimulate greater objective awareness
mirror, faces, geometry

A striking feature of the new moon chart is a higher degree of oppositions in play, and this means that we are most likely going to feel challenged to integrate energy that seems like it doesn’t belong to us. We may find ourselves face to face with outer events we don’t like. For example the Venus-Jupiter opposition may challenge pre-existing beliefs, or the Pluto-Mars opposition may generate power struggles with others, especially with those assuming authority positions. The Uranus-Mercury opposition might pose a challenge with regard to new information that feels either shocking or outside our usual frame of thinking. The Orcus-Saturn opposition could challenge us to discern what is real and true, especially with regard to the official narratives. And finally the Albion-New Moon opposition might pose an integration challenge as new hidden or repressed aspects arise into awareness, asking us to expand our sense of reality.

If challenging situations emerge for you this month, try and stay mindful of the opportunity for more objective awareness, bearing in mind that when we attract challenges and confrontations, we do so because of our inherent vibrational offering; something we may not fully know about ourselves, projected outward onto external situations is up for integration.

Collective turmoil in the information ecology

data, graphs

With Mercury in close conjunction to Typhon in Scorpio, in opposition to Uranus in Taurus, we can expect seismic revelations in the news that could challenge our values. With Mercury and Typhon also in a Grand Water Trine with Neptune in Pisces, and Mars in Cancer, we must bear in mind that not everything we see or read is necessarily true. Nevertheless new information could contribute to a sense of deepening insecurity linked to personal resources this month, and we may well be more inclined to feel more emotional and vulnerable than usual.

(Of note is the imminent US election so we can expect this theme to coincide)

Pluto in Capricorn opposes Mars in Cancer (its an exact opposition energising the new moon energy wave), and the personal nature of Mars makes this dynamic particularly pertinent. Pluto is amping up energy through Mars, generating more intensity than usual; will insecurities get in the way of what we most want, or can we moderate the pace to stay more safe?

This month, the Scorpio energy is amplified via its ruler Pluto, affecting all of us at the personal level. This can play out in several ways, but essentially most of us will have energy to overcome personal limitations and break into new growth territory: don’t worry if the things you initiate this month make you feel insecure at first; this is part of the Mars in Cancer energy - 2 steps forward, 1 step back - remember in most situations we can always reduce the voltage of change by pulling back the speed and taking time to emotionally process!

The Pluto-Mars opposition can also show up as power struggles with the system and the old top down hierarchies of power. So if you end up in a conflict with someone who appears rigid and controlling, try not to over-react, pay attention to your emotional responses, as these are potentially erratic and volatile, and move into empathy as a way to create the needed solution. The trine to Mercury with Mars suggests that when we move into empathic awareness, we can indeed find the right words and actions to overcome any potential issues.

Building a relationship with ourselves strengthens an ability to navigate personal processes

Venus and Pallas are in close conjunction in Sagittarius, forming the apex of a tense and energised T-Square with Saturn opposing Orcus. The Saturn-Orcus opposition has been ongoing for a while now. For those of us on a spiritual path of development, the current period is challenging us to knuckle down and take more responsibility with regard to the inner-work. This is a time when spiritual practices are crucially stabilising and strengthening, and we may need to integrate renewed discipline and new approaches to working spiritually in structured and supportive ways.

Given that the Scorpio New Moon leans toward depth work and shadow integration, a theme amplified by the Libra Solar Eclipse Wave (initiated last month for 6 months), and that Mars opposes Pluto, and Mercury is conjunct Typhon, this month may well feature more intensified shadow-integration work both personally and collectively, and establishing solid spiritual practices that resonate, will go a long way toward mitigating any turbulence and intensity. One of the prime shadows might be related to denial, rose-tinting reality, and escapism strategies (Saturn in Pisces).

Venus in Sagittarius provides inner energy toward expanding awareness and learning in general, so that means that part of the way we work with the Orcus-Saturn opposition is to lean into right-brain intuitive function, and yield to an inner motivation to learn and understand more about the nature of reality.

With Pallas, the patron of heroes, merging energy with Venus, we are more enabled than usual to listen to inner guidance and receive the help we need in order to progress on the path of development, healing, and service. Venus emphasises our inner-world, personal resources, and love, as a frontier with regard to personal evolution. The two goddesses will give us a helping hand along the way.

Cooperation with the Higher-Power optimises personal progress

The Scorpio New Moon is in a close sextile with Quaoar and Pholus in Capricorn, a conjunction which will continue for some years yet, linked to ascension frequencies and their impact on society and culture worldwide. The urge to go deeper and more emotional this month will be connected to how high-frequency transmissions from the Galactic Logos are driving deep inner change. (There is so much solar flare activity at present linked to Cosmic Light Transmissions that the northern lights can be seen much further south in the northern hemisphere than usual)

In turn the New Moon is also making an inconjunct with the lunar North Node and Salacia in Aries, tying in personal depth-work with the collective impulse toward new beginnings. Salacia is asking us to align and work with higher benevolent forces, now available to be of service to us, if we ask from a self-empowered and self-respecting frequency of being. If we don’t enlist the help of higher forces, we may reach an impasse with whatever we are dealing with.

The New Moon also makes a close square with Varuna in Leo, emphasising the challenge to take steps forward on the path toward self-mastery and self-realisation. If we can penetrate through veilings of the mind, to truly appreciate the benefits of the high-frequency energy now available to us collectively during this ascension-window in time, then we might just make some significant progress toward personal power this month.

Overall the North Node conjunct Salacia and Manwë and in trine with Varuna in Leo, while square to Quaoar and Pholus in Capricorn, represents a call to step forward in alignment with higher benevolent forces, operating on behalf of humanity on Earth. This is quite an interesting line up, because it feels like this is something new in the evolutionary process, as if the time is right for a collective synchronisation with benevolent intelligences working to liberate humanity. This of course can only take place at a personal level; each one of us must reach a place within ourselves where we are willing to invite into our lives the assistance of those operating in different dimensions for the higher good. For light beings, natural law is paramount, and they will not intervene unless we ask.

The North Node/Salacia square to Quaoar and Pholus, speaks to the momentum of high frequency energy now driving a crisis, as many are moved to birth a new way of life. This new way of life is linked to personal sovereignty and a more self-realised state, in alignment with natural law via Varuna’s trine to the North Node.

A New Earth requires a new human

This month there is opportunity to ask ourselves some deeper questions. Uranus opposing Mercury will offer us some sudden insights and breakthroughs, and if we are too crystallised and rigid minded, we may manifest shocks, as hidden truths are revealed in our personal lives, or in the world at large that cause us to open our minds further. Some of these insights may dovetail with empathic awareness and psychic input.

With Albion opposing the New Moon, while also making an inconjunct with Venus & Pallas, a square with Chariklo, and a trine with Orcus, there is good reason to suggest that aspects of this months personal process will be linked to the longer term vision of a New Earth, and the successful culmination of the Human Enterprise on Earth (collective ascension to 4th Density/5th Dimension). We may be challenged to make space for positive future visioning for humanity, during a time of apparent chaos and decline in western culture, but I suspect this is important if not essential planetary work, and I think that this month there is scope to ask ourselves what we envision ourselves to be in a better future. How do we need to level up in order to birth a better reality for everyone?

I think the ‘new human’ will be a fully integrated and sovereign being, and if this is true, then it might give us some appreciation for the deep healing and shadow work that many of us are now undertaking.

Pluto’s culmination

Pluto at 29˚ Capricorn is now culminating his cycle in Capricorn since 2008, and will move permanently into Aquarius in December for about 20 years. It's worth noting that Pluto is at 27˚ Capricorn in the US 1776 founding chart; the US has been in the midst of a profound Pluto Return over the last few years, representing a death-rebirth process, ushering in a powerful transformation potential. It's noteworthy that as Pluto finally ingresses into Aquarius, the upcoming US election may prove to be a pivotal expression of rebirth and cultural renewal.

With Mars and Pluto in exact opposition this new moon, we may see world events expressing the conflict of interest between the Plutocrat ruling elites versus the common people. If this happens, it is probably another last ditch attempt from the old Molochian control system to assert its agenda toward a NWO. With Hygeia at the apex of a T-Square with Pluto and Mars, we might see the old system using health as a weapon again via another virus scare.

With Chiron in a wide conjunction to Hygeia in Aries, there has been increased momentum in the world toward natural holistic medicine. The consequences of the gain-of-function C0vid 19 virus and the worldwide use of experimental and arguably dangerous injections presented as vaccines, are still to be fully exposed and understood. The collective systems debacle, fuelled by a striking absence of critical thinking, has left us with an unfolding health crisis, for the most part under-reported in the media. For example, new turbo cancers arising in the younger generations since 2020, and increased rates of "empty sella turcica syndrome" especially in young people, since the roll out of the jabs; a condition where the pituitary gland flattens, shrinks or disappears causing severe hormonal imbalances. The dominos are still falling.

Hygeia at the apex of the T-Square with Mars and Pluto, suggests that holistic healing methods will continue to gain momentum in the collective mind, as many now suffering with health issues have no where else to turn for answers.

As Pluto culminates, and final lessons are learned, we are hopefully more collectively aware of our own personal responsibilities to ourselves and the world, and we might have begun envisioning part of the solution needed as we move into the future. The Yod featuring Pluto sextile Neptune with Praamzius at the apex, offers us a poignant pattern as we prepare for the new Pluto in Aquarius era: The old systems and hierarchies of power as symbolised by Pluto in Capricorn, and the way these power groups use the media and film industry (Neptune) are now coming under evolutionary pressure to align in correct relationship to the cosmos, as karmic forces bear down on those abusing power; what we sow, so shall we in the end reap.

On a more personal level, the pattern speaks to a quality of internal crisis, where we feel somehow creatively blocked from outer progress, driven by a need to come into correct relationship with universal forces, through evolutionary pressure to take more and more responsibility for our creations, becoming more spiritually mature, and learning to see reality as it really is versus what we want to think it is, or have been led to believe it is. We are reminded that everything manifesting in our personal lives exists because the pattern of our choices and actions made it so. Karma is inexorable, we can only aim to optimise outcomes by choosing wisely.

sun, spiral

This month when the onus is on transformation, deep healing and passages to power, much of what is being asked of us is to bring the light of awareness into how we live day by day, and to ask ourselves what relationship we have with the cosmos, and whether there is room for improvement as we transition more and more from being part of the problem, to being more and more part of the solution.
