Pisces Lunar Eclipse Forecast 2025

Preamble:
The eclipse cycles trigger waves of energy that influence all of us internally and externally. The imprint of energy as captured by the chart calculated for any eclipse, tends to get carried forward in time on a wave for about 6 months, and so makes for a useful method of forecasting.
All eclipses represent a break in the normal transmission of light from the sun, and that means the transmission of spiritual information received at the soul level of our beingness. For me the eclipses represent changes and shifts in the way our self-realisation process unfolds, keeping us in tune with our pre-intended life-purpose prior to incarnation. In essence, eclipse energy imbues us with an impulse, which when acted upon, makes us feel like we are on track, energised, and purposeful. How this affects us in detail can only be determined by cross-referencing with a natal birth chart, but we can look to the overall themes to see how the world in general will be influenced, to give us a sense of the psychic weather patterns shaping things over time.
A solar eclipse takes place during a new moon, so it can be viewed as an enhanced new moon. Not only can we receive Higher-Self seed impulses for the coming month, we also can receive awareness that alters our growth path, or new lessons can be initiated, which will carry beyond the month over a 6 month period of time.
To begin with…
The Pisces Lunar Eclipse is the first of 2 eclipses opening up a liminal transitional “frequency corridor” for the next 2 weeks; energy initiating now will be building in momentum until the coming solar eclipse in Virgo, when in my experience the energy usually stabilises.
This lunar eclipse (a full moon) occurs close to the lunar North Node, and is the 2nd of three consecutive total lunar eclipses, this one emphasising the spiritual sign of Pisces as our current ‘karmic school’ of learning; personal development for the next 6 months will be flavoured with a call to be more spiritually aware, align with a suitable and healthy transcendental belief system for greater spiritual alignment, and enhanced psychic sensitivity generating subtle breakthroughs in consciousness. We should guard against escape strategies just because the energies feel intense; there is more to gain by staying with subtle discomforting feelings and emotions if they arise.
The solar conjunction with Orcus in opposition to the eclipse moon, enhances the coming period with a gateway to further soul initiations that link directly to the full activation of our true human potential; we don’t need transhumanist tech augmentation - we already have a state of the art “biological avatar” with a highly advanced human genome; we just need to correct the frequency distortion and re-activate our true co-creative potential in order to bring the “human enterprise” to completion.
The grand alignment of Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn, which I cover in an earlier post: Planetary Quickening 2025-2028, is now activating more of its evolutionary potential for collective awakening; the trine and sextiles are very close and will be amplified by this Lunar Eclipse.

Emotional healing and integration at the forefront of personal growth
With the 3 primary transpersonal planets: Pluto, Neptune and Uranus all at 1˚ of a sign, we are entering a time period of significant initiation and change, linked directly to an upward shift in collective human consciousness.
A Yod formation featuring Pluto sextile to Icarus, with Hygeia in Cancer at the apex, puts a lot of evolutionary pressure on emotional healing, amplified by the eclipse energy of the moon. A healthy Icarus is comfortable with ascent and descent cycles, and teams up with the Lord of the Underworld (Pluto), focusing energy on much needed emotional integration.
As a sensitive, I encounter countless souls burdened with a backlog of unprocessed emotional energy!
The strategy of emotional repression (especially among men) will soon become harder and harder to maintain, and illness or crisis may arise as the only way to process this energy.
Hygeia in Cancer calls us to become better at taking care of ourselves in healthy natural ways that promote integration and resolution. The nature of 2 inconjuncts linked to Hygeia, generates internal stress and crisis that is best solved when we choose to heal.
Hygeia also at 1˚ is in a natural resonance with Uranus, Sedna, Neptune, Pluto, Icarus and Haumea, highlighting holistic methods that cultivate integration and wholeness as a key opportunity; there is a lot of energy available to heal on many levels if we allow for the possibility and invite it in.
A semi-sextile to Uranus in Gemini reminds us that we can only heal if we open our minds and embrace the possibilities; closed stagnant minds are unlikely to heal; true healing goes hand in hand with new awareness.
A square to Neptune however, presents us with a challenge of faith; most of us put off emotional work because we fear we won’t survive the pain, and while its common to postpone inner work while reaching for outer success instead (an immature Icarus), the new energies are demanding more integration, and resistance will only make things harder and more intense later on.
Jupiter in Cancer, trine the eclipse Moon, opens the way for graceful emotional breakthroughs that can leave us feeling expansive with fresh new understanding if we are willing to stay with the feelings without shutting them down.
More revelations on patterns of abuse and how they express in the world
Uranus and Sedna are now in exact conjunction in Gemini ushering in a new era of collective trauma processing punctuated by more revelations of the past. Sedna, who carries collective trauma memory related to abuse, will no doubt awaken us more deeply to the way collective trauma expresses as child abuse.
A recent example re-energised in the papers a few months back when the conjunction in Gemini began, is the unveiling of 796 children’s bodies at an old children's home in Tuam in Ireland. The bodies date back to between 1925-1961 and were found in a disused subterranean septic tank. The home was ran by the Catholic Church. A local historian who made the initial investigation states of the nuns of the Bon Secours order: “The children were treated as commodities. The prettier babies were set up for adoption – it was a money-making racket. The sicker ones were put away and allowed to die.”
The exposure of stories like these serve to catalyse deep collective processing, and I expect we will see more stories like these in the coming years as we begin to grapple with the karma of a culminating dark age.
These revelations can of course be more personal, and with Pluto in exact trine to Sedna and Uranus, there is more evolutionary pressure for critical breakthroughs in our own personal stories as well; trauma and abuse are somewhat relative, and while there is a sliding scale of abuse intensity, the innate nature of our existing masculine dominant culture is predisposed to abuse from the most subtle to the most brutal. With Icarus in opposition to Uranus and Sedna, some may find themselves catalysed to engage deeply repressed emotional material in the coming months, and we may see healing themes connected to victim consciousness activate as well.
Soul initiations and a call to higher service
In astrological terms we are now entering a time of accelerated evolution and awakening. Pluto is now in Aquarius and will soon move out-of-bounds, further amplifying the rising energy of revolution in the world.
Haumea linked to the goddess energy that enables renewal and regeneration is now at 1˚ of Scorpio, and since Haumea is the goddess who mythically gave birth to Hawaii, her presence in Scorpio indicates that we are now moving into deeply transformative and regenerative times that will lead to the birth of a new world sometime in the future.
Haumea links to Hygeia by trine, Pluto by square, Uranus and Sedna by inconjunct, and Neptune and Saturn also by inconjunct; her energy is very much activated through this eclipse and the solar eclipse in 2 weeks time.
There’s a lot to consider here; I’ll do my best to offer a synergistic overview:
Sedna, Eris and Haumea (all goddess energies) provide the foundation of much of what is evolving right now - Sedna-potential is being activated by Uranus - the awakener, and this means that we are beginning to integrate Sedna’s energy more consciously than before (she was discovered in 2003, and up until recently, Sedna had the longest orbit of 10,770 years. Another new unnamed dwarf planet has since been discovered with a 25,000 year orbit! Times are a changing!
In essence, Sedna issues pertain to the emergence of control on the planet; the divergence away from ‘golden age consciousness’ that innately supports soul essence and self realisation as the basis of high-civilisation; the idea that when aligned correctly, each one of us inherently knows what we came here to be and do in any particular lifetime, and is naturally impulsed to fulfil the soul evolutionary intent.
The ‘descent’ into separation and control leads to the enslaving of the soul through violation, abuse, fragmentation, indoctrination, mind-control and so on, in ways that de-couple the ego-awareness from the higher-self. In short we forget who we are, and are trained to be something ‘other’, usually in ways that benefit those in control.
Sedna’s activation, in effect, is a clarion call to become soulcentric; to reject indoctrination and instead to rediscover personal life purpose and the courage to pursue it no matter what. For many of us, we have to unravel complex weaves of victim consciousness to become increasingly empowered and sovereign.
Sedna’s inconjunct to Haumea speaks to the way that soulcentric people will be in service to the birth of a New Earth. To be soulcentric is to live one’s life from a profoundly spiritual foundation, one that is sovereign and honours all life.
As the Pluto evolutionary energy generates a worldwide liberation of the mind and energises global awakening from the death-cult trance of money and consumerism, Uranus and Sedna in exact trine will further enhance the liberation of the mind from false or limiting ideas about reality and existence.
While such revelations will inevitably require us to heal emotionally from the rigours of disconnection, they will also fuel the emergence of a new form of spiritual engagement in ways that will ultimately change what and how we manifest on Earth.
Icarus in Sagittarius opposing Uranus, and sextile to Pluto, invites us to learn more deeply as we initiate into the feminine mysteries. [we can of course elect to resist and opt out]
Meanwhile Eris, as the essence of the rejected feminine within all of us, is now conjunct Chiron - the wounded healer (and has been for some time now), indicating deep healing processes as we continue to heal the wounds of the feminine, generated over thousands of years of patriarchal dominance, where war has been the law. This profound healing event is supported by the high angelic light frequencies of Varda, as well as the cohering and balancing energies of Praamzius (Logos) via an energised and transformative Grand Fire Trine; the deep collective shadows are being brought back into the light.
Orcus, who I associate with the feminine mysteries of descent and ascent cycles, and by extension to the soul-initiate, is fused with the Sun, and opposing the eclipse moon, making this eclipse wave intrinsically about soul-awakening and a return to the sacred. Via a trine to Albion, this serves to bring us closer to the “New Human”.
Albion features as the apex of a T-Square: the eclipse energy that rekindles the spiritual fire must do so through the activation of the heart (Venus in Leo). The more we awaken to the intelligence of the heart as a cohering principle, we will increasingly find it easier to cope with these accelerated times that appear chaotic and unpredictable. We are so used to leading with the left-brain function however, that this shift to heart-intelligence isn’t necessarily easy without significant personal breakthroughs - many may need the equivalent of the proverbial defibrillator to get there!
Finally…
This isn’t the easiest eclipse wave; there is a great deal of stimulus initiating in the collective field; we are going deeper into the process of human ascension. While some may experience amazing spiritual activations in the coming months, just as many will feel pushed rather than invited to deal with the unconscious drivers in their lives; disillusionment may become more pronounced as preparation for future awakening to take place.
The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces calls us to deal with the unconscious more, and there is always the temptation to substitute real transcendence and spiritual connection with artificial versions through escape tactics like binge-watching, mis-use of music to drown out the ‘noise’, recreational drugs and alcohol, sex addiction and so on. If this happens for you, try and be aware that the urge to escape is a reaction to the strong emotional energies of eclipses, and an unconscious fear of the feeling realm and whatever is coming to the surface for us to pay attention to.
For me the goddess Hygeia sings the most in this chart: at the heart of this eclipse opportunity is the potential to heal in deep and profound ways, and the holistic approach to wellbeing embodied by Hygeia is really the key to this eclipse wave; once we understand that everything is a reflection of the internal process, we can begin to cooperate with the energies in play as we move into more wholeness.
When one considers that eclipses serve as energy gates that infuse the collective field with energy patterns that act like evolutionary nutrition, there are some profound and exciting aspects to this lunar eclipse wave and the way it contributes to personal change.
