A note on forecasting:

The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The new moon can be thought of as a window in time when the Higher-Self initiates specific lessons or personal growth intentions for the coming month, and we can use the lunar cycle as a way of decoding evolutionary forces at a more granular level than the solar cycle or the transits of the slower moving planets.
For the spiritually minded person, the new moon is a time to receive the seed impulses for one’s personal evolution, and specifically those impulses toward bringing something new into conscious awareness. Each moon cycle fits into a larger cycle, which begins at the Aries new moon, and if you seriously want to track the unfolding pattern of higher-self guidance, it is a really good idea to record a log or journal of key messages and impressions received in the few hours before and after the new moon, roughly 4-5 hours on either side. During this window of time, make space to be more meditative and pay attention to your thoughts, inspirations, psychic messages and so on, as these will tend to correspond to the archetype the new moon is birthing in at the time, and correlate to the growth themes we are meant to work with during the month.
At some point in time (after a few months) you can look through your log and begin to see a key pattern unfolding, which can stimulate further insight in terms of life purpose.
To begin with…

This Libra New Moon follows two consecutive Virgo New Moons, one of which was a solar eclipse. There has been an amplification of the Virgo signal this year centring on purification processes, healing, optimisation, work and adjustment. Now the Higher-Self impulses bring us more outward again toward social engagement and connection; through the mirrors of relationships, often via contrast and comparison, we can come to a more balanced perspective.
Whatever fruits were harvested through an extended internal reviewing process (2 months) can now be shared with others, or we might seek out feedback from others in order to broaden our viewpoint.
The mercurial side of Virgo may have given us more clarity on where we stand in the world, and we might have made some subtle adjustments in terms of our sense of place in it. A life lived with purpose and meaning will, from time to time, call us to clear out any mental dross and sort through aspects of our lives that need attention. If we did this enough, we may be feeling more able to engage the world in a more attuned and optimal way again. If we need to do more work, this month will be a useful time to get feedback from others on key issues we have been focusing on.
Libra calls us to live in balance - and this is a relative quality that expresses differently depending on our age, lifestyle, temperament and karmic circumstance.
What is balance for you right now?
The chart for the Libra New Moon is relatively balanced and quite energised so lets take a closer look at the archetypal themes on offer this month…

War, peace and the healing of the wounded feminine

The New Moon makes a key opposition to an ongoing Chiron-Eris conjunction in Aries, and both sides of the polarity make a square to Jupiter in Cancer. The Chiron-Eris conjunction represents a collective process that bridges us into the wounded feminine as we begin to heal and resolve deep ancestral wounding from more than 10,000 years of warfare addiction.
More and more of us are realising that there is no virtue to war, and that wars serve only the very few and cause a great deal of damage and suffering to everyone regardless of which ‘side’ claims to win. At the time of writing, war still rages on in both the Ukraine and Gaza, and this Libra New Moon may initiate key movements toward peace on many levels; the warfare isn’t just in these two places in the world; it operates in the media, in education, politics and government, and in the social polarisation of identity politics. Europe teeters on the brink of civil war as the energy of revolution builds in the world.
We’ve all been affected by war, even if we weren’t directly in one; we inherit a wound legacy from our parents and ancestors, and it is these wounds that play out in our personal and social worlds.
The T-Square with Jupiter at the apex energises the Jupiter function so we can develop and elevate its expression; it acts as a release valve for the way that deep soul wounding seeks resolution.
What do we believe? And why do we believe what we believe?
What if our beliefs represent just one perspective? What if they fall short of truth?
Jupiter in Cancer energises fervour over ancestral wounding and identity, which of course is a key aspect of disputes that lead to war - a recent example of this in the world are the recent attacks on and murder of Jews in both the US and the UK. Jupiter also awakens the compassionate mother energy that can support deep ancestral healing this month; as with all dynamics there is an elevated expression we can choose.
This can play out at the personal level as well because the Chiron-Eris conjunction is much about how 10,000 years of patriarchy (a distortion of the False Matrix), has left all of us with a deeply oppressed and wounded inner-feminine generated over many lifetimes.
As we ascend in planetary frequency, we will be moved to heal more and more, and I think this will in turn, over time, bring us collectively closer to genuine peace in our lives.
Ancestral wounding encodes us with belief structures that are rooted in the deep past, and understanding how our beliefs repeat cycles of aggression and conflict are central to this lunation opportunity.
Mars and Mercury are in exact conjunction in Scorpio and part of a Grand Water Trine with Neptune and Jupiter, while Icarus in Sagittarius makes an inconjunct to Jupiter as well.
Mars and Mercury puts a lot of assertion energy into the unveiling of hidden truths or deeper levels of personal understanding this month, feeding directly into the issue of beliefs and how they link to personal soul wounding and its affects on the collective field. Icarus and Vesta in Sagittarius further energises the quest for greater understanding in connection to why we believe what we believe - this conjunction puts internal pressure on us to make some adjustments.
The Grand Water Trine opens the way for an unveiling of what is true as we shed obsolete belief patterns connected to early childhood conditioning and collective long-held ideals. Illusions may falter or even shatter and we will feel freer and lighter for it if this happens.
Awakening now activates past life memories of spiritual lives

Orcus, the archetype of the soul initiate, is now in exact conjunction to the South Node in Virgo, while sextile to Mars and Mercury, square to Vesta in Sagittarius, trine to Albion in Taurus, and inconjunct to Chariklo in Aquarius.
In essence this speaks to the activation of past life memory as a means toward deeper healing and resolution. This can unpack in unique ways from soul to soul and may arise not just as clear images but also as abstract feelings, blurry dream images and deep emotions.
For some the themes will involve past life persecution trauma coming up to be healed. For others the themes might connect with past spiritual lives pertaining to power abuse in the role of teacher, or karma related to spiritual zealotry. We may also be working with past life themes connected to sexual karma, power and powerlessness, and even darker themes yet, such as contracts with evil.
This alignment may also activate past life resources e.g memories or new awareness linked to spiritual lives led in accordance with natural law, and the ritual tending to the sacred. The onus here is one of allowing a deeper awareness to arise without blocking it. In this way we have the opportunity to heal more deeply, and to transform and empower ourselves in ways that activate more personal potential in an embodied and grounded way. Chariklo reminds us that we might need to give ourselves the time and clear space to really unpack whatever we are meant to receive during this lunation period and beyond, especially if we tend toward a busy life.
Vesta in Sagittarius, square to the nodal axis, indicates that the issue of beliefs and how they influence what we manifest in our lives, is key to the resolution of past life persecution trauma.
Vesta is the Roman goddess of the hearth fire - vestal priestesses were tasked with making sure the sacred hearth fire was always lit. Hearth of course is directly resonant with ‘heart’ - she is tending the “heart-fire”, and the latin word for hearth means focus; its where we put our reverence and inner focus.
Part of this pattern points to how past life patterns of persecution trauma link to current patterns of belief about ourselves and about the spiritual path; what is and is not safe etc.
Any archetype square to the nodal axis highlights it as an area that needs greater attention as a means to clear karmic energies so that we can better flow with the future intentions and possibilities in our personal lives: placing our focus on understanding life from a wider more universal and philosophical perspective will help us to see the past in a different way and help us let go and move on.
Spiritual activation or rebirth energy

Saturn has eased back into familiar Pisces where he’s been for the past two and a half years, widening the current conjunction with Neptune still in Aries. Saturn is retrograde, driving energy more inward for self-reflection as we review and reassess what we think reality is, and decide which structures in our lives have run their course and are up for release. Some world issues may now come to peak maturation and resolution in the coming months, such as the dissolution of borders and mass migration.
In my own life I’ve been noticing a ‘softening’ of certainty and conviction when it comes to what I think is real and worthwhile; everything in recent years has slid into a more nebulous and somewhat slippery soft focus; things I thought were rock solid real I now question, and realise that what I mistook for solidity is just a fixed perspective and is actually more relative and less absolute in nature.
This has had bearing on what I sense, feel and perceive my life path to be; it feels like I’m doing a loop the loop, and rebirthing a completely new level of myself in the world. This feels resonant with Saturn completing the zodiac in Pisces and now rebirthing again in Aries, and most significantly while conjunct Neptune - the archetype of the Divine Mystery and the unseen dimensions of existence, which we generally assign to the spiritual domain.
While Saturn moves retrograde until the end of November this year, Neptune (also retrograde) loiters at 0˚ 1’ of Aries at the time of the Libra New Moon, just 4˚ away from the luminous angelic Manwë, opening those of us who are ready, to some pretty cosmic high frequency activations that might radically alter our perceptions of existence. For anyone who is a starseed/wanderer soul, the current time can be very activating, especially if you’ve been slumbering in the False Matrix up until recently.
The energy of Manwë is a very uplifting and vibrant love frequency that I associate with gold and blue-white light. His influence is of primary significance because he is now aligning with the Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus alignment from now until 2028.
In addition this month, Aruwn (lord of the otherworld) is in a close square to the New Moon adding yet more spiritual dimension this month that might pull us closer to the otherworld dimensions next to our own, which we associate with the Fae realms. For those interested, this month is a good time for reverential ritual and ceremony for healing and making whole, and our relationship with nature spirits and elemental forces.
Finally…
There’s quite a lot going on this month for anyone actively on a spiritual path, especially centring on the healing and reclamation of the true feminine principle. A Grand Fire Trine featuring Varda, Praamzius, Chiron and Eris supports the remediation and elevation of the true feminine out of the False Matrix distortion, and we are tasked with our own personal level of healing in this regard.
Our capacity to understand something at a deeper level is energised, and this might lead to self-transformation and empowerment. The possibility of deep transformative insight is further supported by Pluto trine Uranus.
A key quality of this New Moon energy is one of participation; the way that key personal inner changes form part of a collective movement toward healing and wholeness, and how the sharing of personal insight can also help others expand their understanding in beneficial ways.

There is evolutionary pressure to hold objective safe space for ourselves as we allow feelings and emotions to inform us and move us in ways that expand our understanding of ourselves and our place in the scheme of things. The Chiron motivation is one that builds bridges between disparate parts of ourselves, and often these parts are “lost”, repressed, or isolated in stasis. The healing journey is one that moves us more and more into a state of wholeness; a growing coherence that enables us to express more and more of our true potential as individuals.
Each one of us has a story that spans many lifetimes, most of which we are commonly unaware of, and part of the liberation process now activated by Pluto trine to Uranus conjunct Sedna, is a greater capacity to reclaim forgotten aspects of who we are at the soul level. These aspects can be experienced as pockets of memory and light-codes (vibrational information), buried safely in the depths of the psyche. Some aspects can be located on different dimensions, placed there long ago before the fall of Gaia and humanity, such as the ‘otherworldly dimensions’, the planetary grid system including sacred power sites, and the inner-Earth dimensions.
The Libra nature of this New Moon may energise us toward a more left-brain approach, but with Jupiter square the New Moon we can expect greater progress if we are willing to let intuition guide us to what we most need to understand, and sometimes the required understanding is available to us in subtle psychic impressions, feelings and emotional textures that elicit deeper cognitive awareness.
Personal life structures, inner or outer, may feel like they are in mild flux, leaving us somewhat confused or uncertain, and if this happens, just remember the power of the heart-knowing as a reliable alternative to the linear mind.
The nature of the planetary quickening we are now participating in is one that I think will crack open even the most seasoned spiritual traveler; what we have known before in terms of how we awaken and how we self-realise is probably going to change in the next few years as we enter new collective frequency bandwidths, which in turn open access to protected knowledge in the akashic records. There is a lot to look forward to, and now is the time for sincere inner work for most of us, even while some make strides in the outer world.
