A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The eclipse cycles trigger waves of energy that influence all of us internally and externally. The imprint of energy as captured by the chart calculated for any eclipse, tends to get carried forward in time on a wave for about 6 months, and so makes for a useful method of forecasting.
All eclipses represent a break in the normal transmission of light from the sun, and that means the transmission of spiritual information received at the soul level of our beingness. For me the eclipses represent changes and shifts in the way our self-realisation process unfolds, keeping us in tune with our pre-intended life-purpose prior to incarnation. In essence, eclipse energy imbues us with an impulse, which when acted upon makes us feel like we are on track, energised, and purposeful. How this affects us in detail can only be determined by cross-referencing with a natal birth chart, but we can look to the overall themes to see how the world in general will be influenced, to give us a sense of the psychic weather patterns shaping things over time.
A solar eclipse takes place during a new moon, so it can be viewed as an enhanced new moon. Not only can we receive Higher-Self seed impulses for the coming month, we also can receive awareness that alters our growth path, or new lessons can be initiated, which will carry beyond the month over a 6 month period of time.
To begin with…
The Solar Eclipse, as a new moon, naturally initiates a new energy dynamic lasting for the next 6 months - it is amplified and modulated by its proximity to the karmic nodal axis sending ripples into the field that reach us on two levels: collectively for the next 6 months, altering the way the world processes karma and intention, and personally for the next month as part of our unfolding lunar cycle, following on from the previous Cancer New Moon.
This eclipse also takes place within the Lion’s Gate window [July 26th - Aug 12th of every year] when the Sun and Earth line up symbolically with our sister star Sirius - associated with the Egyptian goddess Isis. This makes this total eclipse event potentially more powerful than other eclipses, acting as a supercharged initiation wave for many on the planet.
The last Cancer New Moon initiated a month of inward emotional focus and attention; a gestation period as we took the yearly seed impulses gathered at the Aries New Moon and made emotional space for them. The Leo New Moon as a fire sign now initiates a higher level of spiral recursion where we begin to creatively self-actualise whatever we have been given to manifest this year. This is naturally a more outward, expressive, and creative part of the cycle. If we made the emotional adjustments, we are now ready for change, and more willing to jump in and make change happen however great or small.
Collectively we are now completing the Aquarius eclipse wave that initiated last February, one that generated insight, revelation, and liberation. Our life perspectives may well have shifted more than expected over the last 6 months, and now the new eclipse wave in Leo, a total eclipse initiating a macro eclipse cycle (shifting from Aries to Leo), is moving us toward creative action, self-expression, and self-realisation; it’s time to make personal whatever shift in consciousness you managed to anchor and sustain in recent months and/or years.

The last macro solar eclipse cycle initiated through Aries in April 2024 when Pluto had just entered Aquarius, and Chiron was remarkably in fusion with the new moon/eclipse inception point by exact degree and minute. There has been a lot of initiation through the eclipse cycles since then; a call to break from the past, move on from existing patterns, heal to make whole, and step into something new.
Now a new macro spiral commences through another active fire sign - Leo - so there will be no letting up; awakening will continue to be dynamic and transformative. Fire is the element of ignition and this is the energy that currently influences the field until July 2028. From now until then the solar eclipses will be alternating between Aquarius and Leo only, where each yearly cycle is a continuous process of insight, revelation, and liberation of the mind, followed by creative action, actualisation and expression in the world; a dynamo of personal awakening and self-realisation.

Personal sovereignty on the rise
A striking stellium of 7 planetary archetypes in Leo puts a great deal of focus on co-creation and personal sovereignty.
~ What does it mean to be in personal sovereignty?
First of all we return to sovereignty in stages; it isn’t a light switch decision as such; we become increasingly sovereign as we build more personal field coherence. Because evolution is a spiral recursion, the way we experience degrees of sovereignty will change over time, but overall the more sovereign we become, the more we know our own mind, own our choices, and move through life with a self determined, internally guided and independent orientation. We become less affected by what others think, less reliant on supports from the outside, and more aligned with a personal higher mission.
In particular Mercury, Jupiter, Hygeia and Varuna in Leo, all trine to Neptune and Manwë in Aries, highlights how personal sovereignty dovetails with spiritual awakening and initiation; the Neptune-Manwë light infusions through the ignition energy of Aries generate a harmonised and amplified activation of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, moving toward whole-brain coherence through the healing and integrative frequencies of Hygeia, fused with the higher-octave frequencies of Varuna. These are archetypal dynamics that support and encourage alignment with the higher-self and the path of dharma (correct action). This is a beautiful synergistic alignment.
Heart coherence through balance and listening
An ongoing epochal Grand Minor Trine featuring Pluto, Uranus and Neptune mirrors the significant collective awakening now taking place. It is now more or less exact, promoting more intense spiritual activation and quite radical changes in personal perception. The minor trine is now being joined by luminous Manwë, now in conjunction with Neptune in Aries, and Sedna - still in close conjunction with Uranus in Gemini. For those coherent enough, this amps up the awakening potential, boosting the energy so to speak, with Sedna in particular bringing in the return of feminine sovereignty after a long exile during the dark cycles that gave rise to patriarchy.
Venus in Libra now activates this minor trine dynamic making the next 6 months a more personal window of time where key internal activations can take place, especially in connection with the heart-mind and the path of the one heart.
Venus is in her home sign of Libra emphasising harmony and balance as a key, and this is most often attained through the art of listening. This listening is not just about truly listening to what others have to say, although that in itself can be life changing, it is about listening to our own inner rhythms, feelings and responses, and learning to navigate through heart resonance. This is when we make choices not from the mental function, but through the heart-mind to discern what most resonates from what does not.
The heart-mind awareness will be a primary driver for this eclipse wave, where more and more will begin to choose what feels resonant over duty, social expectation, or wound dynamics. Heart activations will naturally help us balance and integrate left/right brain function via the supportive stellium between Venus and the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in Leo [a sign associated with the heart]. This is another beautiful alignment.
The inner work
Having established that there are powerful harmonic activations and support energies available this eclipse wave for the next 6 months, lets now look at the inner work patterns.
There are 3 primary archetypes that will influence inner work processes in the coming months:
Typhon in Scorpio - psychic eruptions that catalyse new awareness and deep healing in the longer term
Pluto in Aquarius - evolutionary forces directed toward personal awakening, liberation and revolutions
Chiron in Taurus - healing the mind-body split, and working with wound dynamics pertaining to fear of lack, survival, and inner connection.
These 3 archetypes are at the apex of energised T-squares, or more subtle but still powerful Yods:
Typhon is now finishing up in the last degrees of Scorpio, where over the last years we have seen powerful collective shadow eruptions all over the planet. Typhon is often the pressure release of suppressed creative potential, and on personal terms Typhon speaks to disruptions that catalyse new awareness. Typhon is now square to the karmic nodes, and this is a timely moment where collective shadow eruptions will give us the opportunity to liberate through objective detached awareness, bringing shadow aspects into the light. This could express as powerful collective pressure-releases as we work through leadership versus the people - power dynamics.
Typhon is also at the apex of a Yod, with Chiron and Mars in exact sextile; this is to say that healing activations through immersions into the emotional body, and empathic resonance, can have a substantial and beneficial impact on personal repressed emotional material linked to deep soul wounding. If we don’t accept our own shadow we may feel blocked or stuck.
The Mars-Chiron sextile has Sedna at the mid-point, so if we agree to work with our emotions consciously, embrace sensitivity and vulnerability, we can not only excavate deep soul wounding relating to patriarchy where we felt violated, we can also access the light of our soul calling and purpose.
If shadow eruptions occur for you, just remember that although initially destabilising, if you trust in the process and follow your heart, you will move into greater coherence later down the track. Above all remember the power of conscious breath - just 3, 6 or 9 cycles of inhale 3 sec, hold 3 sec, exhale 3 sec and hold 3 sec, can help build coherence.
Chiron at 0˚ Taurus [and retrograde] opposes Haumea in Scorpio, while Pluto squares them both: Chiron as the world-bridger and initiator now activates Haumea ~ the goddess of rebirth and regeneration, in the sign of death-rebirth-renewal. Haumea represents our current passage to New Earth reality through rapid releasing of low frequency geometry; the death of an old paradigm followed by a transformative rebirth - and collectively we have only recently began this journey.
Now Chiron quickens us through a call to heal whatever holds us back from being fully embodied. We are being catalysed to make friends with Gaia, and reconnecting to the telluric currents beneath our feet, and the nature elementals all around us. This activation further amplifies Pluto, now in the sign of awakening and freedom. In collective terms this eclipse is a powerful initiatory gate for personal evolution.
Anchoring in the new geometry through healing, integration and natural law principles
Salacia and Saturn are in close new phase conjunction in Aries; Salacia is the conveyor of higher frequency geometry, now seeding through Saturn, into space-time reality. On personal terms this means that if we are in the right phase of our personal growth spiral, and coherent enough, now is a potent time to be accessing new higher frequency geometry patterns, and bringing them into our lives in a way that initiates changes in our sense of self and how we act in the world, but this isn’t going to happen on its own; we have to be responsible stewards of this opportunity. The Saturn-Salacia conjunction makes trine with both Hygeia and Varuna in Leo, and this means that anchoring in the higher geometry goes hand in hand with practices that promote balance, integration and coherence. There are many different ways to do this, but we won’t be able to act as seed carriers for the New Earth potentiality if we don’t realise that this opportunity requires us to maintain balance and stability for it to be successful. If you sense that this is your task right now, remember to take it slow when you feel tired, reach for coherence tools and practices, and let the new geometry change you.

Albion in Taurus makes a 1st quarter square with the solar eclipse generating a crisis of expansion.
Manwë invigorates Neptune with a higher octave of light geometry as spiritual awakening initiates changes in personal identity through the surrender of the left-brain linear mind [ego] to the feminine right-brain way of seeing reality.
The Sophia-immersion through Salacia conjunct Saturn, and trine to Hygeia and Varuna, seeds new geometric patterning straight into our energetic structures, activating the heart chakra as we elevate into more personal sovereignty and co-creative awareness.
Chiron opposing Haumea tells us that to optimise this opportunity we must collectively heal our relationship with Mother Gaia, without which the New Earth potentiality cannot manifest.
Albion himself in Taurus imbues this solar eclipse wave with an expansive pro-humanity impulse. Albion is a powerful expansion archetype, deeply resonant with the human genetic enterprise, and as such linked to the expansion of human spiritual potential.
For some of us at least, this eclipse wave will be a powerful driver for significant energetic change leading to a subsequent shift in life direction, altering how we go about things, refining the way we interact with others, and elevating purpose and meaning.
