In astrology, the solstices and equinoxes occur when the sun enters one of the four cardinal signs: Aires, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, and the cardinal signs act as doorways for metaphysical energy to more easily influence the field. For this reason, much like with eclipses, which are also liminal magical gateways, we can use a chart cast for these days to gather useful information about human evolution and its affect on the world. I use the term magical in the sense of spiritual energy shaping matter, or the power of Mind to influence outcome, and in the case of the solstice for about 3-6 months.
The sun is central to the evolution of consciousness on the planet, and is directly linked to sun-spot activity and the transmission of visible and invisible light, and throughout the year, pulses of energy pour into the human collective field and the Gaian energy system, much like notes played on a piano generating a shifting musical chord over time. In this way the forecasts are best understood together and not just as sole events, but rather as energy downloads that mix and merge with those that came before.

To begin with, most prominent in the chart cast for the December Solstice 2022 is the large stellium of planets gathered in the sign of Capricorn, energising the archetype of the goat-fish for the solstice energy wave carrying forward for about 3 months.
Through Capricorn we develop and mature with experience over time, and we reap the harvest of whatever we have sown with our actions prior. Ruled by Saturn, there are two sides to consider:
The need for a mature outlook on life, to be a responsible member of society, and to cultivate self discipline through which to attain positive goals.
The tendency to lock down, control, or be overly rigid and emotionally repressed, pessimistic, narrow minded or depressed.
At the heart of the Capricorn stellium are three slow moving celestial bodies that I have spoken briefly about in previous forecasts, and will cover in more detail now because they will be an ongoing influence.
Ixion, Pholus and Quaoar
Quaoar, Pholus and Ixion form part of a pattern that began already in 2008 and will continue for many more years to come, as their slow moving and somewhat elliptical orbits mean that these three characters will be travelling together, for the most part, only a few degrees away from each other, at least until 2040.
The simplest way to sum up the gestalt of these ongoing conjunctions is:
The process of reconciliation of the ‘Fall of Humanity’ with the ongoing revelation of the truth of our origins within the inter-galactic community, and the reactivation of our full co-creative potential through the rebirth of shamanistic practices, which will eventually reinstate humanity to its rightful position within the Living Matrix.
The Fall of Humanity myth is expressed in numerous oral and written traditions around the world, and in general speaks to the overarching idea that humanity once enjoyed higher states of awareness, knowledge and wisdom, but that this was all lost in a rapid descent in consciousness somewhere in our forgotten past. Related memes are encoded in the story of the Fall of Atlantis, the Fall of Satan and his angels, the biblical flood myths form all around the world, and the concept of the Demiurge and the Rise of the Archons from Christian Gnosticism. [Hermes Trismegistus foretells this fall in consciousness in Thoth’s Prophecy on Egypt]
This theme will be a consistent background presence in all of the forecasts for the next decade and beyond, and it describes an ongoing process occurring in individuals who are drawn to gnostic spiritual practices (knowing truth from within) as well as shamanistic ones (the bridging of realities). Which is to say, those of us who are confident enough and willing to venture beyond collective norms, in order to directly experience the Great Mystery on a personal and intimate level.
Through Pholus we are to reconcile the “fall of humanity” with the greater Divine plan, in ways that are both personal and deeply transformative. At the collective level, this began already as far back as 2008, just a few years after Ixion and Quaoar were first discovered. At that time they were joined by Pholus in Sagittarius, just as Pluto was culminating his journey through Sagittarius and was about to enter Capricorn. 2008 was marked distinctly by a global financial crisis, and the ingress of Pluto into Capricorn initiated on the one side a doomed-to-fail austerity policy as a desperate means to stabilise the financial system, and on the other began to reveal the true depth of corruption within systems of governance and finance world-wide.
The Pluto/Sagittarius energy represented unrestrained greed and power-grabbing by morally bankrupt elites. With Ixion newly ingressed into Capricorn, right on the world-axis since 2020, the activities of the evil-doer have been catapulted onto the world stage for almost everyone to see, if they have but the eyes to see - most blatantly through the false narrative of a global pandemic, enforced lockdowns, and experimental vaccine mandates. This has quickened the unveiling of criminality within our institutions, authorities and amongst prestigious figures, as we begin to recognise that our toxic culture, founded on unconscious trauma, is highly selective toward psychopathic traits rewarding the ruthless and overly self-interested with money and power, while marginalising and disenfranchising those more equitable, cooperative and loving.
And yet Pholus as the centaur capable of linking the finite world of form with the realms of spirit and soul, acts as a potent catalyst for profound human transformation, calling us to take responsibility for the low vibrational players within the human family, as the only way we can elevate our societies to become equitable, joyful and creative places to live in.
Over the next years this overarching theme will continue to affect the evolution of society, no doubt initiating sudden dramatic shifts in collective consciousness from time to time, as fixed dogmatic patterns of perception dissolve into more inter-connection.
It heralds this period as a time to take our true power back from the factions operating through the False Matrix, to become significantly more powerful co-creators, who deeply remember their spiritual origins and the true spiritual mandate for humanity on Earth.
Capricorn calls for maturation and self responsibility
For several more years, this archetypal gestalt will be prominent in all the solstice and equinox forecasts because of its close proximity to the World Axis.
This solstice is no exception with the Sun and Hygeia combust at 0˚ Capricorn, close to Ixion, Pholus and Quaoar, placing the need for holistic healing modalities at the centre of world events, as I suspect more and more people will be challenged with serious health issues such as cancer, resulting from the experimental Covid jab, perhaps finding more effective healing options beyond orthodox medicine.
Are we going to see more of a shift toward holistic healing practices in 2023? I think so, and this will be quickened by a growing distrust in established health care systems as the seismic repercussions of the vaccine program become more and more apparent. How do we trust anyone who hard-sold vaccines as virtually 100% safe, while they didn’t even understand what was in them?
In this sense the solstice wave highlights a window of time when the karmic repercussions of earlier actions may materialise in ways that force us to face up to reality, and effectively take responsibility for our personal creations. This of course can happen in positive and negative ways, or more precisely for some this may be a time when the effects of disciplined hard work finally begin to pay off, and for others who haven’t been doing their due diligence, manifestations may indeed be challenging.
Uranus is close to the lunar North Node in Taurus (and has been for some months), while Jupiter in Aires is in an exact square with the solstice Sun, and in a close conjunction with Manwë in Pisces. While the onus is on dealing with reality for better or for worse, the main challenge will be whether we are willing to take appropriate action on our intuitive impulses to solve any problems we may currently be faced with.
Can we break free from old dogmatic beliefs about reality and pioneer into unknown spaces to find the answers we most need?
For example, if suddenly cancer is discovered in the body (as has recently happened to some people in my extended network), how many will default to toxic treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, while never considering alternatives? I recently heard about someone in exactly this situation who having capitulated to fear will end up spending over $40,000 on toxic treatments, which may well kill them. All the while ignoring the possibility that several rounds of the Covid jab may be at least part of the cause.
In this, the Typhon opposition with Mors-Somnus, in T-Square with Saturn in Aquarius, provides a potent stimulus for awakening: destructive unconscious forces operating behind the scenes provide the impetus for awakening from the socially engineered trance, through seismic shocks that powerfully affect our personal reality, acting much like The Tower card in Tarot. This influence won’t effect everyone, it will very much depend on how deep in the trance individuals are, and whether it is their time to wake up or not. I liken this aspect to a defibrillator device used to restore a normal heart-beat; although the electric shock produced is no doubt uncomfortable, the resulting 'awakened' heart is well worth it.
Put the work in now
While the long standing Pluto-Eris square, which has been driving so much disruption and chaos in recent years is finally dissipating, I feel this is not a time to be resting on one’s laurels; the emphasis on Capricorn speaks strongly to the need to knuckle down and remain steadfastly focused on self-development and spiritual growth. The Grand Earth Trine with Venus in Capricorn, Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, and Orcus in Virgo, points to a need to deeply self-reflect this December into 2023, in order to come clear on the path of service and sacred work each of us will be called to, in order to forge the way toward a better world. Orcus continues to be in a close opposition to Nessus in Pisces, and so part of the inner work for many will be attending to personal suffering as the currency for deeper awakening.
Juno in a balsamic conjunction with Neptune in Pisces trine Typhon in Scorpio
Above all will be the cultivation of a positive relationship with the Feminine principle, through which a tremendous amount of healing and creativity can be found. Taken in the context of the Grand Trine in the Earth signs, I see this as the very necessary work needed in order to bring forth lost or hidden gifts, which can be brought to use in service to humanity in the years to come. However the repression of the Feminine principle has to be worked out lawfully; whatever we repress also distorts, and Typhon in Scorpio may well confront us with powerful psychic disturbances as we come to terms with what happens when we repress our innate magical nature. Juno is a key archetype in relation to the self-realisation journey, and for most of us we are still working toward a balanced healthy relationship with feminine energy. Her conjunction with Neptune in Pisces represents an opportunity to elevate the feminine through love and forgiveness and to move to a deeper more open relationship with the Self. For some of us, Typhon’s role will be challenging as we could be faced with angry and destructive energy either inwardly or outwardly, through which integration of shadow aspects can be attained and valuable lessons learned.
As I covered briefly in the Sagittarius New Moon Forecast, the ongoing Quaoar/Pholus conjunction, exact by degree in the Solstice chart, represents the radical energetic upgrading now occurring planet wide as we continue to reconnect with the Living Matrix. Pholus acts as a carrier for very high frequency energy coming in from Source, right into the body physical. I associate Quaoar with the Cosmic Tree of Life and the Primordial Creatrix known to me as The Dragon; the super highways for cosmic information, which form the basis of the Living Matrix, much like a mycelial network linking all of existence together. Their conjunction now in Capricorn will have a profound effect on society in the coming years, as well as the fundamental structures of the physical body.
The Solstice line up with Hygeia and Ixion highlights the role of holistic healing as a key process, perhaps more active over the next few months than usual. Holistic healing of course means engaging all levels of one’s inner and outer experience in a way that brings greater balance and wellbeing.
Salacia in Aires opposing Makemake in Libra form a T-Square with the Quaoar/Pholus conjunction, adding more energy to the vibrational upgrades many of us are experiencing, sometimes with peculiar symptoms such as sleep interruption, fatigue and tiredness, heart palpitations and so on. This T-Square indicates an integration challenge as we work with high frequency inputs from off-world groups (often working with the starseeds) such as the Pleiadeans, Arcturians, Sirians etc as well as process ancestral karma and lineage trauma connected with the ‘fall of humanity’ and the reactivation of ancient wisdom already part of the human legacy, passed on in a dormant state from generation to generation.
My suggestion here is that the potent energies available are moving us in several ways, and that those engaged with this spiritual work will have spirit contacts with benevolent inter-dimensional beings from both the inner-earth dimensions as well as beyond our solar system. The inputs from these two different support groups are amplifying our ability to make quantum-leap shifts in our personal energy, and that for the time being we can expect our energy fields to feel in a constant state of flux. In the longer term this will probably lead to greater psychic perception, healing capacity, and spiritual knowledge, which in turn will be redirecting many of us to new creative directives and pathways of service.
At the moment the onus appears to be about laying new foundations and making inner commitments to heal and awaken, but at some point I expect many will suddenly feel the call to new spiritual tasks in accordance with changing collective needs. We will no doubt enter an era of healing work on a mass scale; healing of humanity as well as remediation of the Earth both ecologically and energetically is an inevitable next step toward a ‘New Earth’ paradigm beyond capitalism and postmodernist thinking toward a more integral life orientation.
