A note on forecasting:

The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The new moon can be thought of as a window in time when the Higher-Self initiates specific lessons or personal growth intentions for the coming month, and we can use the lunar cycle as a way of decoding evolutionary forces at a more granular level than the solar cycle or the transits of the slower moving planets.
For the spiritually minded person, the new moon is a time to receive the seed impulses for one’s personal evolution, and specifically those impulses toward bringing something new into conscious awareness. Each moon cycle fits into a larger cycle, which begins at the Aries new moon, and if you seriously want to track the unfolding pattern of higher-self guidance, it is a really good idea to record a log or journal of key messages and impressions received in the few hours before and after the new moon, roughly 4-5 hours on either side. During this window of time, make space to be more meditative and pay attention to your thoughts, inspirations, psychic messages and so on, as these will tend to correspond to the archetype the new moon is birthing in at the time, and correlate to the growth themes we are meant to work with during the month.
At some point in time (after a few months) you can look through your log and begin to see a key pattern unfolding, which can stimulate further insight in terms of life purpose.
To begin with…
The Aries New Moon builds on the ignition energy of the recent March Equinox (when the Sun entered Aries and initiated the new astrological year), now anchoring the energy of new cycles into our personal growth processes. The annular cycle of the new moon now renews, and all going well, we come full circle but at a higher or more developed level of awareness.
While the Pisces lunation may have been calling for more flow and surrender as we completed some of our growth themes, as well as immersing us in psychic impressions guiding us forward into the new cycle, the Aries New Moon will open us up to new initiative, great or small, and an impulse to move in new directions in one way or another.
Maybe it’s about new desire impulses arising as we fine tune what we want to live and be next.
Maybe its about taking active steps into new life territory e.g. moving into a new home, starting a new job, connecting with a new relationship, or starting a new creative idea or project.
This is now the appropriate time to be grounding into the personal some new awareness about what we want the next year to be all about. When I say ‘want’, I refer to what is wanted at the soul level of our being, and so it is as much about paying attention to the true desires and impulses arising within, and learning to cooperate with them. Sometimes this may be unsettling and feel uncomfortable at first.
Its also worth remembering that sometimes inner impulses reflect in obvious ways in the outer world, and it is the outer events that move us forward, as exciting new opportunities, or developments that bring change we might not initially feel secure with.
Above all this is a new moon energy wave, and for many, what arises will be just the first seed impulses that set the scene for the coming 12 month cycle.
The chart cast for the Aries New Moon has a primary focus of archetypes in the sign of Aries, making this month a more potent time for new beginnings, so lets take a deeper dive into the archetypal themes on offer this month…

The world is moving forward

Saturn and Neptune made an epochal conjunction at 0˚ Aries last February marking a significant change in the way humanity is evolving; we are entering a new evolutionary era. Saturn is now fully in Aries for the next two and a half years. This means that the world itself is moving in new directions, and we will be leaving old realities behind.
Mars is now in a culminating conjunction with Saturn and will enter the new phase in just 3 days time. While the urge to take spontaneous action is heightened, its also constrained by the limiting nature of Saturn; moving into new growth territory is part of the course, but we will probably feel the weight of responsibility holding us back a little - new initiatives must be anchored in reality, and tempered by planning.
The renewal of the Saturn-Mars cycle in Aries indicates that the way we move in the world will be anchored in breaking free from the past; learning to do things differently than before; and learning to trust in our gut instincts to navigate moving forward into new adventures. This is not a time to lean on the past for security and stability; what is needed is a fresh approach as we build new structures that can take us forward into the future.
The impetuous to move forward (Mars) is conditioned not just by the restrictive eldership of Saturn, it is also in exact conjunction to the luminous Manwë currently activating the Light Warrior archetype, and in a favourable sextile to Pluto in Aquarius: new initiatives will be rooted in the soul level of our personal evolution seeking liberation from limited ways of thinking and being, and simultaneously over-lit by the angelic protection and clarity of vision via Manwë.
Pathways of elevation

This month Saturn receives energy input from both Salacia (goddess of the sea) and Manwë (champion of the light), and many are in a birthing process as new developmental pathways begin to come into form that will take each of us on a journey of frequency elevation.
This is an interesting opportunity because something new can begin to emerge; the mere possibility of a new life path that will, over time, lead us into very new life territory defined by a higher vibration and frequency. These new pathways won’t necessarily look obvious because they can’t be perceived from the lower frequency state each of us is in; we can however feel their potential as a mysterious calling or attraction.
These pathways begin as ‘frequency stepping stones’; a sequence of opportunities or invitations that might not seem big or important, but will lead to a steady path of personal and spiritual development further down the track.
Salacia is the mythical consort of Neptune, and while Neptune acts as the ‘guardian of the threshold’ between the tangible and the subtle; the seen and the unseen - Salacia represents the benevolent aspects of the spiritual planes. A Saturn/Salacia conjunction in Aries might offer us a window of time when new spiritual awareness radically alters our reality; it may also activate dormant creative capacity, what we might think of as hidden gifts and talents, linked to prior spiritual work that has generated a stable coherent energy field capable of accessing these talents now.
Such opportunities would naturally dovetail with the way we are meant to move forward into this new cycle.
Spiritual initiations activating the feminine path

Chiron is now in a new phase conjunction with Eris the goddess of discord and mystery. While Eris as a distortion mirror is showing the world all about violence, assault, warfare, and ultimately the costs of a distorted masculine expression permeating modern culture, Chiron the wounded healer and spiritual initiate is now changing modes and beginning to help more people to heal from the patriarchal distortion (an expression of the False Matrix reality) and rekindle a healthy relationship with the path of the Divine Feminine.
This conjunction is just 1 degree away from the New Moon, and so elements of this will be stronger this month. In addition Dark Moon Lilith is in an exact inconjunct aspect to the New Moon tying in some key issues around the use and misuse of energy (sexual, financial, social, spiritual) and for some of us emotional wounding around shame connected with sexuality, emotionality, personal power, money and transformation, may arise to be integrated.
This kind of shame, if it does come up, will act as an obstacle to new beginnings until it is dealt with; its all tied together and part of the way. Dark Moon Lilith is also in an opposition to Uranus and Sedna and part of a tense T-Square aspect with Praamzius at the apex.
This means that collective healing from patriarchal distortion will reflect systemic sexual abuse patterns spanning decades (centuries and millennia) and for those working with these themes directly, a real potential for deep soul level healing, empowerment and transformation. The collective opportunity is to face the shadow side of reality, to stand in the radiant solar power of the innermost Self in order to complete growth lessons to become more coherent.
Collective disorientations

Gonggong makes a close conjunction to the lunar North Node in Pisces, adding a catalyst into this months energy wave. Gonggong represents the energy of sudden unexpected movements that can leave us initially disorientated. Gonggong tests adaptability and flexibility of coherence. I think we may experience some spiritual tests that reveal where we most need to work next. We might feel de-coupled from fixed reference points and tasked with finding stability in the strength of our personal path; to anchor in the unfolding path rather than in any environmental frameworks and identities. Above all, this month could show us how important energy coherence really is and how powerful it is in stabilising collective chaos as the world shifts gears.
This conjunction forms the apex of a Yod formation with Varuna and Makemake in sextile. While for most of us this may not be felt personally, we will see this playing out in the collective drama. Yods call for adjustment and correction, and collective disorientations can be stabilised if we can master our energy fields by making internal adjustments if needed (Varuna), and we understand that some of the chaos rising is directly linked to the ancient past and our collective remembrance of our true story. To put this into perspective, the current war with Iran, while inevitably nuanced with numerous aspects, may have a lot more to do with hyper-dimensional Stargate-portals than many realise.
In this regard Makemake is a key archetype at present because it is part of a Yod and a T-Square. Our ancient history is very much an active part of collective developments, now increasingly influencing our sense of what is real i.e reality is expanding, and powerfully activated by cosmic light transmissions saturating the planetary field.
(On a side note I noticed in my area an escalation of chem-trails on the days around the March equinox; a desperate but futile attempt to mitigate the ascension effects of these cosmic light frequencies activating human consciousness through the equinox portal)
Finally…
On a personal level, this is a time to move into stillness so that it is easier to tune into the new seed impulses initiating at the beginning of the new astrological year. There is quite a lot of energy in Aries so we will be feeling the threshold of new experiences this month and an uregency to act.
With Mercury close to Neptune, we may find it easier to understand guidance this lunation, but it will probably come through as gut instinct responses to mental processes; if you need to make decisions run through your options and observe what your gut reactions are.

The goddess Juno makes a culminating conjunction with Pluto in Aquarius this lunation, in a close sextile to Mars and Manwë in Aries (as well as Mercury, Neptune and Saturn), marking an evolutionary change in the way we engage the Divine Feminine. Pluto and Juno cycle roughly every 5 years, but they have been rebirthing in Capricorn since 2013, and more recently the awakening Feminine Principle has had to contend with the suppressive nature of the old patriarchal structures within society; we’ve had to work through the distortions of the Feminine most clearly expressing through cult woke ideology and immature empathy. This year the exact conjunctions in Aquarius initiate a new cycle of evolution through Aquarian values that lean toward equality, not as sameness, but as equal value. This new liberation cycle continues until 2040, and we can expect to see a reclamation of the Feminine mode on the personal level in ways that are individual and free from traditional frameworks.
The sextile aspect to Mars and Saturn indicates a reorientation of the Feminine Principle, productively supporting new goals and initiatives - in a sense I can see this as a natural shift toward the cultivation of the feminine through stillness, retreat, meditation, flow, intuition etc as more people feel free enough not to care what others think. This liberation and activation of the inner feminine mode will have a tempering or balancing affect on the focus of Aries energy in the world right now. We can see this theme literally as the liberation of women from regressive patriarchal, controlling, and abusive cultural and religious paradigms.
