A note on forecasting:
The aim of forecasting isn’t simply to try and predict what is going to happen; the reader is not meant to be a passive receiver of a "fixed fate", in fact quite the opposite. The nature and purpose of forecasting is to build a living relationship with the archetypal energies in play: as we read, awareness is activated on deep levels that support the way we relate to a changing and dynamic collective field.
A connection is initiated with the living field matrix much like a generous handshake, salutation or greeting. In a sense it is a sacred tending of the spiritual fire; a way we can positively engage the imminence of the field, so that we can prepare and adjust to shifts in the energy around us. Like the strumming of chords on a guitar, we don’t have to remember everything precisely, but instead allow ourselves to be moved and attuned. In this way we already begin to respond even without really knowing. In some instances key themes may sing to us in ways that become more meaningful as the weeks pass and life events unfold.
Preamble:
The new moon can be thought of as a window in time when the Higher-Self initiates specific lessons or personal growth intentions for the coming month, and we can use the lunar cycle as a way of decoding evolutionary forces at a more granular level than the solar cycle or the transits of the slower moving planets.
For the spiritually minded person, the new moon is a time to receive the seed impulses for one’s personal evolution, and specifically those impulses toward bringing something new into conscious awareness. Each moon cycle fits into a larger cycle, which begins at the Aries new moon, and if you seriously want to track the unfolding pattern of higher-self guidance, it is a really good idea to record a log or journal of key messages and impressions received in the few hours before and after the new moon, roughly 4-5 hours on either side. During this window of time, make space to be more meditative and pay attention to your thoughts, inspirations, psychic messages and so on, as these will tend to correspond to the archetype the new moon is birthing in at the time, and correlate to the growth themes we are meant to work with during the month.
At some point in time (after a few months) you can look through your log and begin to see a key pattern unfolding, which can stimulate further insight in terms of life purpose.

The Scorpio New Moon ushers us into deeper internalised processes linked to change, release, healing and transformation. We are taking the harvest gained from connecting and sharing with others and bringing it inward in ways that foster inner change.
Scorpio is a sign that can invite us to face aspects of the personal shadow if we are ready to do so; we might come face to face with people or situations that mirror aspects of ourselves that are obscured or hidden so that we can begin the road to resolution and integration, starting with acknowledgement. We all carry shadow distortions, and we do better when we learn to see them, and over time, integrate them in ways that heal and transform; in this way we become more self empowered.

Overall the chart features 11 conjunctions involving 22 archetypes. These master numbers in themselves suggest a powerful gateway month. We’ve also got 12 archetypes moving in retrograde [not including the nodes], such as Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Uranus, emphasising a more internalised quality to this Scorpio New Moon portal. Retrograde planets move us to do some internal house keeping as we sift through thoughts, ideas, values, needs, and structures, and if necessary, to release whatever is no longer needed.
Planetary conjunctions represent the ending of cycles and the beginning of new ones. They involve a fusion of energy with transformative outcomes, and they carry intensity because collectively we are undergoing 11 this month. Some of these conjunctions are longer term e.g. Sedna and Uranus or Eris and Chiron, while others like Mars and Jupiter are shorter lived.
What all these conjunctions do tell us though is that there is a lot going on, and that contributes to a dynamic and complex world picture, as well as a personal sense of intensity, challenge and overwhelm or confusion; we will probably feel a lot is going on inside but not be sure what it is exactly nor what it means.
Albion and the Human Enterprise
Albion was the first of a long list of new trans-Neptunian objects discovered from 1992 onwards, and on one level he represents the emergence of integral thinking as we transcend post-modernism. Albion also symbolises the elevated human and the activation of higher human potential. Albion has an expansive and liberating quality, and correlates to what I call the Human Enterprise - referring to the revelation and realisation of our true human potential as an advanced avatar in the game of life; the “new human” as Archangel Raphael (through Kelly Kolodney) puts it; the unveiling of our true evolutionary template; a literal remembrance of divine origins, and the resuming of a developmental timeline that has been waylaid and obstructed during the last dark cycle. This is not just the idea that human beings have latent capacities we are yet to discover or activate e.g telepathy, the ability to create reality with intention, to heal, to bi-locate, communicate between dimensions etc. but something bigger and greater, a potential that surpasses other galactic races in terms of novelty and creative self-realisation.
Albion is in close opposition to the New Moon, is trine to Orcus - the soul initiate, and is the apex of a T-Square featuring Mars opposing Chariklo. Whenever Albion is more active, there is going to be an amplification of potential and expansion seeded through the new moon portal.
This implies there will be a challenge in letting things go in order to bring into our lives grounded practical expansion. Chariklo in Aquarius close to the North Node speaks to a need to hold clear mental space [through coherence] as a kind of container for this months inner process, and with Mars conjunct Jupiter in Leo we will want to temper enthusiastic impulses toward action with clear objectivity founded on stillness. On a higher level Mars and Jupiter represent the potential for intuitive acts of co-creation, and Mars as the impulse to act is currently transcending an old pattern of action-taking to become more intuitively aligned with the higher self.
The T-Square itself then expresses a code formula for personal advancement: put most of your attention on coherence, and if you need to, learn about it and learn how to build coherence in your life. Understand how coherence corresponds to inner stillness, and from this place of stillness rewire your Mars function [the impulse to act on desire] to be tempered by awareness arising from inner stillness. If you can get a balance right between stillness and action, then new personal potential can awaken within, in ways that generate a stronger sense of personal sovereignty and heart coherence.
One could say the whole new moon chart is pivoting toward this significant opportunity, so bear this in mind as we move through some of the other themes.
A Grand Fire Trine
To help add more flow and movement to this months new moon energy wave there is a complex Grand Fire Trine to consider:
Trines represent phase alignments that generate standing waves, which serve to amplify harmonised energy influences that can support personal growth through the mitigation of the more challenging aspects, like oppositions and squares, of which this month’s new moon chart features quite a few.
Oppositions can reflect energy that emerges as conflict, either internally or externally; the task is to learn to embody both sides and find integration. Squares reflect integration crisis; its when two inner functions e.g two planets, need to give birth to a new level of expression; there is a push to level up in some way, and that means doing something different and taking a risk.
Trines can be a bit lazy in that we can easily bask in the ease they provide without making productive use of the opportunity they present. Grand trines are significantly more amplified.
The fire element is dynamic, creative and transforming; it confers energy and movement that makes something happen, and a Grand Trine unites the 3 modalities [cardinal, fixed and mutable], these are the 3 modes energy moves through into one harmonised influence, implying energy moving toward new beginnings, levels of attainment, and release/ adaptation through understanding, all at the same time! This is what makes a Grand Trine so lucrative if we can manage to harness it.
So what’s on offer with this Grand Trine?
An opportunity for solar consciousness activation in a way that activates deeper sovereign expansions, expanded understanding, alignment with inner light and purpose, and the bridging of ego with raw feminine power in ways that promote healing and transformation of identity, to become more aligned with the heart-mind as a field of coherence.
The North Node and Chariklo in Aquarius acts as a key stabiliser for this opportunity; some of us are being initiated into resonance and coherence as core life navigation metrics. More and more, following the law of resonance responsibly without deviation will bring reliable optimal outcomes.
Seismic spiritual awakenings
The gift of a Grand Trine comes with its own stimulus challenge - a T-Square featuring Uranus and Sedna opposing Typhon with Gonggong at the apex:
Typhon, now in early Sagittarius, initiates coherence testing in the arena of intuition and belief structures, and while opposing Uranus in Gemini, we are challenged with stark objective reality clashing with cherished beliefs about ourselves and how the world works. This can be a cathartic yet liberating aspect tied, via Sedna, to broader galactic connections and the unveiling of true purpose beyond a false matrix controlled reality. How we and the world deals with this ‘truth window’ can result in seismic shifts in our spiritual lives as well as sudden and radical disillusionment in ways that cause us to question more deeply what is real and what is not.
Uranus and Sedna are retrograde adding an internal revelatory aspect to this lunation. It is a signature of rebellion against the past; and what is the past? It is everything that has come before and that includes what we think and what we identify with.
Gonggong energy is about sudden displacement:
Can you stay centred when the ground moves?
Can you stay coherent even when your geometry is no longer familiar?
It initiates shifts in our reference points, altering the frame of our reality. Whatever Typhon throws up from the deep and hidden, whether it is shadow distortion or forgotten light, when combined with Uranus as the awakener and liberator, puts pressure on Gonggong to show us where we are clinging to illusions or avoidance, or to show us a new perspective on reality itself.
In tandem with this tense pressure dynamic is a more subtle Yod dynamic that adds to the evolutionary grit, moving us to shift perspectives. The Yod features Mars and Venus in sextile, both inconjunct to Nessus in Pisces, with Orcus in opposition acting as an anchor. The Orcus- Nessus opposition has been ongoing for quite a while now, moving in and out of opposition, each time initiating a soul level integration of persecution trauma and inverted martyrdom programs, both of which incapacitate soul awakening to planetary service. While often cathartic in nature this dynamic has been helping us reconnect with past life pain and suffering, especially linked to natural law inversions that expressed as patriarchy over the last few thousand years.
Now Venus and Mars; the inner and outer personal reality, come into a harmonic relationship acting as a steady container for this kind of soul retrieval work; there is a readiness to deal with personal pain more directly. Venus is also trine to the North Node and Chariklo in Aquarius, so while we are more inwardly predisposed toward balance and equality, we are also inwardly more inclined to learn how to read the field and recognise resonance from dissonance.
To add even more nuance to this complex chart dynamic, Venus sextile to Icarus forms another Yod with Albion at the apex, and in a sense we come full circle. The potent potential of the Grand Fire Trine, is now feeding into a Yod aimed at Albion, activating human potential through the DNA via Icarus. Icarus is acting as a carrier wave for the higher light codes emanating through Varda on the Galactic Centre; the fabled second sun. Venus is stabilising this wave through inner balance.
Finally…
A Scorpio New Moon is always the time of the yearly cycle when deep metamorphosis can take place if we let it. The new moon chart is loaded with powerful evolutionary potential, much of it focused on DNA activation toward the full realisation of the human enterprise, which began many thousands of years ago with the first seeding, and subsequent genetic interventions; it is estimated we are the genetic benefactors of numerous advanced galactic species.
This might mean we feel more tired than usual; deep metamorphosis takes energy from the surface level of life. If this happens pay attention and rest more if needed.
Meanwhile high frequency light emanations continue to saturate the planetary field in ways that temporarily destabilise society and culture all over the world, as well as our personal deeply entrenched patterns of being.
This month heralds an increase in field testing dynamics, where our coherence will be pushed to the max so we can stabilise higher geometry. We can expect there to be increased evolutionary pressure to release obsolete low frequency patterns, including those causing internalised distortion and fragmentation.
