Jupiter in Cancer

In this post I’m just going to share a few reflections on what Jupiter in Cancer might be activating for us, especially since Jupiter is currently square to both Neptune and Saturn in Aries.
Current Astro Data:
Neptune and Jupiter will make an exact 90˚ square on June 19th and we can add a week on either side as a guide to it’s most powerful influence but bear in mind this is an initiation moment that may carry forward for some time afterward as we work with personal themes.
Saturn and Jupiter have been making three exact squares from mid 2024 with the final one on June 15th just 2 days ago.
Jupiter is also making a trine aspect to Pluto
The spiritual side of Jupiter

In evolutionary terms, Jupiter represents our ongoing expansion of understanding toward greater personal truth. Jupiter is energised, optimistic and open to new ideas and perceptions. As long as we keep growing and expanding our self-knowing, everything is fine, but problems arise when we crystallise our emergent truth and turn it into an absolute; one that is static and unchanging. When our evolving truth is stymied and locked into a belief system, we set ourselves up to eventually face the limits of that system, sometimes with powerful and cataclysmic consequences. We are seeing elements of this playing out on the world stage.
Jupiter, now in Cancer, evokes a longing to belong, to find a place we can call home, a family of spiritual resonance.
Where is our evolving truth taking us?
While Jupiter was in Gemini, we may have faced conflicts over truth, and we might have dug down on our belief systems, or we might have recognised the relativity of truth - but either way, in a world where there is so much information diversity, and so many spiritual paths to follow, I think many find themselves largely alone in their own personal quest, as they slowly decouple from the False Matrix reality, and reconnect with the Living Field.
As we approach the Neptune square, there is a real potential for confusion and disillusionment to occur. What was true then, may no longer be true now, and if we’ve been projecting truth onto certain situations or people, we might be faced with realising they aren’t what we expected or what we wanted them to be.
The evolution of truth

From a spiritual perspective, we cannot ever know all there is to know, and as we naturally make sense of the world, in order to navigate through the unfolding nature of our lives, our sense of truth should naturally change and evolve over time. If it doesn’t, then it means we are trapped in fixed and dogmatic belief systems of one kind or another, either because we adopted them from society, or we created them at some point in the past, as a way to feel more stable and safe. Belief systems tend to oversimplify and they are complexity deficient precisely because it gives us the illusion of control.
A belief system can serve us, but only for a limited period of time; at some point it will become too self limiting and have to be overcome.
For the spiritual aspirant, the notion of truth becomes an important lodestone or barometer on the journey. We have to check in with the heart-knowing on a regular basis in order to feel if some new perspective or data resonates enough with us or not. If it resonates, then something about the information will serve personal growth for a time, if it doesn’t resonate, then we are best to leave it alone because it is either distorted or problematic, or we aren’t ready for it.
As Jupiter transits through the zodiac, the nature of the “life teaching” we receive, cycles through the 12 archetypes, providing new stimulus as our truth evolves. Cancer brings the cultivation of personal truth right into the emotional sphere; its no longer about which truth is right or wrong (Jupiter in Gemini) and the challenge of discernment, it is now about what feels true, and lessons around how personal truth separates us from community, and might actually leave us feeling deeply isolated and alone. Cancer might induce a deep longing for resonant tribe or “family”, and a crisis in action, because as our spiritual life activates and grows, we might grow apart from others, and we might experience a frequency gap with the world around us.
Where do we fit, when our truth differs to those in our neighbourhood or culture?
The Neptune square generates a degree of tension around the evolution of ones personal spiritual perspective, through disillusionment and a consequential need to release defunct beliefs that hold us back from personal growth and development.
Most of all we should guard against doubling down on what we believe to be true as a way to feel safe and secure in a time of accelerated evolution. In fact, while Pluto in Aquarius is making a trine to Jupiter for the next week, we shouldn’t be surprised if events cause us to alter our way of seeing things, as we become more aware about a person, situation or personal pattern.
The Saturn-Jupiter squares

The Saturn-Jupiter relationship is one that reflects the evolution of personal reality. On one level it represents the personal lessons and teachings we face as we evolve; the way an evolving personal philosophy changes the structure of a life. The Saturn-Jupiter cycle, which re-birthed through Aquarius in Dec 2020, puts an evolutionary emphasis on a liberation from socially conditioned ways of seeing reality; this is at the heart of all spiritual work. During this last year when we have been experiencing 3 Jupiter-Saturn squares, we are really seeing how this liberation of limiting beliefs is now challenging us to question reality even more, and to start bringing into our personal lives, changes that keep us in alignment with what is most currently true for us; its been getting harder to live with any cognitive dissonance, as new emergent truth and guidance generates pressure to leave old patterns and ways of being behind; it might even feel hard to really know what our deepest truth is!
Some key questions to reflect on
What is your personal truth asking you to take action on now?
Is there a temptation to hold on to present illusions or patterns of belief, in order to distance oneself from feeling alone?
Can we move forward on the path without knowing why or how things will work out?
Are we able to sit comfortably with an absence of clarity or knowing, without trying to make sense of everything, and build a false or distorted picture of things, just so we can feel better?
Can we allow everything to be just as it is, and through “not-doing” let the correct path of action show itself to us?
What ideas, concepts and convictions are cluttering the mind that hold us back from the simplicity of knowing what to be and do now?
Can we let go of the need to control our sense of the future, in order to be gracefully “moved” by the higher power, as personal structures continue to dissolve?
Can we feel safe enough while old identities fall away with a shift in vibration and frequency, and in that gentle intuitive knowing, wait without consternation for inner clarity and awareness to arise?
The Jupiter in Cancer journey

Jupiter will continue in Cancer until next year, and during this time we can expect to work more on our emotional body - sorting through any emotional clutter that interferes with the intuition.
If we allow a backlog of unprocessed emotions, then we are liable to make decisions and choices based on those emotional energies rather than from the higher-self intuition - in effect we will be trapped in the past.
Jupiter in Cancer is inviting us to expand and enrich our emotional lives with greater emotional awareness and depth of feeling. If we can bring the goddess more into our daily experience, I think it will support and cultivate profound new and abundant beginnings. This is a time to gestate the essence of higher-meaning, and allow it to reveal, in its own time, a pathway to belonging.
The longing for more meaning and the longing to connect and truly belong, serve a purpose, no matter how challenging this might be for us individually; contrast generates focused desire for change and evolution. Above all, I think we can be best served when we are willing to let ourselves feel the full intensity of our feelings, such as grief, disappointment, and pain; to give space for the emotions before we push forward.
As we experience this collective transitionary moment in human history, with its impulses toward new beginnings and new ways of being, we must also pay attention to the emotional side of things, and make sure we have de-cluttered and emotionally resolved the patterns and stories we are leaving behind. If we do this we will be able to move forward gracefully and with a degree of ease.
